Ok, so my daughter and nephew have been chosen several times. If you want the best odds you need to be front and center and they need to jump and look excited. Wearing a starwars costume, cloths or hair style will really up your chances. If your off too the sides were all the kids come running in as the show starts, your odds lower. We usually will get there at least 20 minutes before it starts to get a center spot. Unfortunately if your child looks like they are under 4 years old they probably won't get picked. I've seen at least one crying small child who wasn't picked at each show. One was my daughter right after she turned 4.
