Jedi Training Academy not on calendar until Nov 20?

I'm helping a friend with some tips for their trip in a couple of weeks. I was looking at their dates and noticed that the Jedi Training Academy is not on the schedule until Nov. 20.

Is this because it's being "reimagined" for Season of the Force?

Their last day in the park is Nov 19. Is it possible the calendar will be updated or was there an announcement that I might have missed?

OMG! I am so mad! It was showing on the calendar for next week just two weeks ago. Times and all. And now, on their website, it says this: "
Please Pardon Our Dust
In preparation for an exciting new Stars Wars adventure, Jedi Training Academy will not be performed from October 21 to November 19, 2015."

I am pretty freaking irritated. We leave tomorrow and just... wow.

Oh no! We leave in the morning and two of my boys are being Jedi's in the park and were hoping that would help them get picked. They are going to be heart broken.

Thanks for asking. I wouldn't have known until we got there on Saturday if I hadn't been prompted to look and my five-year-old would have been crushed (It's the only thing he talks about.) Now we can spend the next 36 hours preparing him for it

I knew it was going down to prepare for the new show. Was it previously on the calendar as available those days?

Awesome. Flying down for a trip from the 8th to the 12th and there will be no Jedi Training, no Jungle Cruise and no Space Mountain. Can't wait to break that news to the family (I knew about the first two when they finally released the calendar a couple of weeks ago, but no JTA is entirely new information for me).

Oh well, it's not like complaining about it on a message board is going to change the situation...

Ah man! I just checked and sure enough it's now under construction. You know, having about 2 weeks notice for my trip....that's pretty lousy. Pretty lousy.And it would be even less for those who are going next week or the week after. What kind of Mickey Mouse operation are they running down there?

So it's a safe assumption that when it reopens it will be with all the new stuff? For some reason, I remember reading that stuff wouldn't be coming until Dec. I'm selfishly glad it will be back up for our trip, but I do feel bad for everybody else who will be missing it. And yes, the late notice really sucks!

This is correct. We were at that park this week, and my little guy wanted to do it, the cast member said to make sure we did it before Tuesday, 10/20, as that would be the last day for some time.. My little guy ended up being grumpy when the time came around and not doing it. (

Darn it. This is the time I finally had my son convinced to join the Darkside when Darth Vadar comes out. He'll problem chicken out by our next trip.
