How likely (is it even possible) is it to get a Jedi Training Academy slot if we're not planning on arriving at HS until noon? Does anyone have experience with this?

i was wondering the same thing....i know the early shows fill up quickly but we wanted an afternoon show? Do they still fill up even for the afternoon shows?

It really depends on when you are going. It is like getting FP+ at 30 days versus at 60 days. There were reports that only evening shows were available when signing up at 11am during the summer time. but there is also the waiting list. Some kids will drop out. If you HAVE to do the show, go early. If not, just take your chances.

The sign ups are done in the morning for all shows. The earlier you are the best chance you will have to pick the show time you want depending on your plans. If you arrive at noon you can go check if there are any spots available at the Indiana Jones store, if there are you sign up. If not they put you in a waiting list and you have to go every JT time to check if a kid backed out or if people are running late or just left.
Sometimes the very late shows have openings because kids just don't want to stay around all day and parents leave. It does take a big chunk of your time if you do standby because you have to check at each and every show to see if there are no shows

Does anybody have any experience of going at around 10am? We are planning on going at rd on a Monday in November but would rather get a few rides in before the crowds arrive

If JTA is a prime objective, head to sign up as early as possible.
If JTA is just a casual goal, you can try signing up a bit later.

Your priorities can dictate the order of events.

Went yesterday and people literally run from the front gate to sign up.

I did a fast walk, pushing a stroller and ended up with the 10:10 time slot.

We showed up at our show at 9:30 and the line up was big. I'd assume the time slots fill up quickly especially during the busy times. If I were you I'd rope drop it to be safe. Pick an early time because it takes around an hour
