What a great trip. I really like pin trading. You get to meet some great CM’s and guests. I got to start a pin collection and complete the collection in 1 trip, that was really cool. Granted to a true collector it isn’t close to being complete…I think someone told me that there were 101 pins in that entire set but I just happen to like the last seven pins the best...at least for now.

I can’t say enough about being in the parade… woohoo!! We had so much fun. As soon as we get the pics back I’ll post them.

Trying the different restaurants, Boma, Prime Time, Akerhouse, Tusker House, Tangierine Café, Kona Kafe, California Grill, etc. , etc.

Let’s not forget Pleasure Island!! Kungaloosh!

…and so much more!!

Hey jdads2, enjoyed your trip reports (all of them). That is so awsome about the parade at AK! I haven't gotten into the pin trading thing...yet. Ya know, the last time I read your trip reports..from your October trip, you inspired me to plan our next trip for that time. Sooooooo, the pin traders aren't the ONLY instigators on these boards!

Okay, which trip did you enjoy most? and which is the better time of year to go?

I wouldn't say that either trip was better than the other. Parts of both trips were great on their own.

When my daughter lit up the first time she saw Minnie and Mickey or when my youngest son (7) was telling us and everyone within earshot what different birds were doing while we were watching them at AK or my oldest son laughing hysterically during ToT. Perfect moments in themselves. Then on our trip there was the parade and watching the fireworks from the Contemporary and actually getting to ride the rides together.

As far as which time of year I would chose. That is actually easy. I would go back at halloween in order to catch MNSSHP. The parks were less crowded.
