JcPenney's new Disney Mini Store!

Just what we needed. Was just saying on our way to the mall (we are on fall break how MUCH WE MISS our Disney store we lost several years back.
So today me and the girls walk into Jc Penney, go around the corner and there it was....a little piece of Disney paradise. (We so needed that today!) And the prices were just right. Especially since they have 20%off right now!


We are 5 months post trip so we sure are missing our happy place right now.

Yup. We have a small Disney Store inside our JC Penney. Such as:
The Mall at Pheasant Lane (Nashua NH)*
Northshore Mall (Peabody MA)
The Maine Mall (South Portland ME)
Natick Collection (Framingham MA)
Solomon Pond Mall (Marlborough MA)*
The Mall at Whitney Fields (Leominster MA)
The Mall at Emerald Square (North Attelboro MA)*
The Mall at Palisades Centre (West Nyack NJ)**
Bangor Mall (Bangor ME)
Silver City Galleria (Tauton MA)
The Mall at Rockingham Park (Salem NH)
The Mall of New Hampshire (Manchester NH)*

* = Their Regular Disney Store location have closed
** = They still have their regular Disney Store location

BTW, I have not been to Burlington Mall in Burlington Massachusetts, since they closed their Disney Store in 2011, And they don't have a JC Penney ether. And I know The Disney Store at The Mall at Rockingham Park closed in 2011 but returned in 2013 since they are now inside JCPenney at The Mall at Rockingham Park.

The Disney Store at Solomon Pond closed!?!?!?!?! Was just there in December. Ugh. Well, at least the JCPenney in Leominster has one of the "mini" stores.

I hadnt realized this, Bummer!!! I feel like I was there not too long ago, but it must've been longer ago than I thought... . Glad to know JCP in Leominster and solomon have them! I will have to check them out!

The Mall at Pheasant Lane moved their regular Disney Store into their JC Penney location. Will The Mall at Palisades Centre in New Jersey be the next one? The Disney Store at Solomon Pond have moved into their JC Penney location.

The people at our JcPenney's laugh when I walk in because we are there so much My kid just loves to run around and point out everything so we got a lot. Plus I always end up buying something. Kids t-shirts are on clearance for $4.99 right now plus the online coupon!

I was under the impression that the Disney Shop was excluded from the coupons. Am I missing something? Can you point me to the coupon you are referring to?

I just bring the current online coupon up on my phone and it always comes off what I buy in store and I only buy stuff from the Disney Shop.

ETA: They scan the coupon on my phone. The cashier doesn't type anything in.

This may be a little off topic, but here's what has always driven me crazy about the Disney Store (when we had them!) the Disney Outlets (that are available in the Northeast), and now the JCPenney "Disney" store: I almost never buy anything.

This should be such a huge red flag to whoever is running these stores. I am a huge Disney fan. I love it so much I became a travel planner specializing in Disney. There is no way I should be able to enter one of these stores and leave empty handed. But I do! All the time!!!!

They really need to rethink their marketing strategy. While toys and dress up outfits are great, I think there are many of us who would prefer the type of merchandise you find at a World of Disney store. I was so sad to see the one in NYC close, only to open your standard Disney Store in Times Square. My DH and I get to visit NYC every now and then...but not once have I bought anything since the change.

I tried using a mobile if Penney coupon on my phone and it took nothing
Off. I fought with the cashier and he would not budge. I read the fine
Print and it excludes disney.
Now if they have a percentage off clearance it does include disney merchandise
Just not coupons.
