Quite a while back, I was one of the many lucky people to grab the good deal that JCPenney had on their one-seater battery-powered sports car for kids. Well, now I'm wondereing just how lucky I really was...The Easter Bunny brought it to our daughter this morning and she loved it. When she went to drive it, though, it doesn't steer correctly. The wheels move in the right direction that the steering wheel is turned, but it seems that the "push" that the ONE rear tire with the tread has makes the car go in its own direction. More or less, it's not drivable, and I'm guessing that it's due to there only being that one rear tire with the tread (which is what the directions say it is supposed to have) causing the lopsided push. Did anyone else who purchased these have the same problem, and if so, any suggestions on how to fix it??? (We have the girl's pink car.)

Thanks!

Sorry I don't know how to fix your problem, but I thought I'd see if I could help since I noticed we're neighbors! Is there a 1-800 number on the instructions for the company that made the car? I'd try calling them and see if they can help you out. Good luck!

Thanks! I held off calling until my dd tried it out for a more extended try. We got out today and it did better. As her driving improves, I think she'll be able to control it better, too. ;-) It just takes it a second or two to get away from that initial pull to the right, then she can make it turn under her own control.

Nice to see another Bloomington DISer! :-)
