jcp BF toaster - mine broke already

I thought cooks was an ok brand, did I just get a lemon? And since they're discontinued, now I have to go toaster shopping again. Any recommendations?

We needed a new toaster a couple of months ago, and I searched Amazon and was surprised they had a Black and Decker for $12.88, and with Amazon Prime free 2 day shipping, jumped at it. Nothing fancy, but works quite well.
