JC Penny $10 video camera-Has anyone received it?

I'm hoping to get a call soon...I was hoping to get the call before Friday so I could surprise the kids with this but it's not looking too good for that...

My said that but the Date Shipped was the 14th and I got it today already..so call your local store,they might have it..I went to mine today at Noon and they first made their calls at almost 3pm..I got a call even though I had already picked mine up..so word of advice--check with your store, they probably have it in the back already

I picked mine up this morning...definitely not worth more than the $8.43 I spent on it. Was going to give it to my 12 year old but will give it to my 9 year old instead, she'll be quite pleased with it!

I received mine today!

Looks a "little" flimsy, ok A LOT , but it is for a 3 year old, so I think it is ok.

We bought 3 and are returning them. I felt they were too flimsy and wouldn't work. I would have been VERY mad had I paid $30 for it!!

Picked mine up earlier this week, actually I think it was last Friday. I have it wrapped and under the tree. Yes it's plastic and flimsy, no it's not worth more then $10 but I think DD11 will have a ball with it so for me, it's worth it, even if it breaks quickly it's still worth it.

that's exaclty what i said too when we actually opened them up..they are gifts for a 6, 7, two 8 year olds and an 11 year old..if they play with it once and it breaks, oh well, i'm not out the original asking price of $39.95 (asking price in the store anyways)..since mine are already wrapped can someone tell me what size SD card these can use? i remember ppl commenting about it being a 512mb or something..would a 2gb work or not?

We got both of ours last week. I got 2GB memory cards for each camera for $7.99 at Staples. DS is enjoying his and I will be sending the other one to my niece tomorrow. (It'll probably be late for Christmas, but I'm trying...) DS is also enjoying the photo feature.

They charged your card when your item shipped. You just have to pick it up.

I put a 2GB in mine and it worked fine. I was just checking to make sure the features worked, we have 3 or 4 2 GB laying around (I live 10 hours from family so I use these cards to load photos on and then send them to Mom or DD22, they put the photos on their computers and then erase it, reload it with photos of my DGD and send it back to me.) so I didn't get a new one, I will just give her one that we already have.

I did not have to pay when I picked up, just waited in the line with everyone else who was picking up. I did sign for it, they did check my ID but not the card I used.

we ordered 5..and out of those 5 one does not work..i called the store and they were no help saying the item is unavailable..so i called the catalog number and they still have them available so they are sending me a new one, they did have to charge me again but I'll get a refund since I have to do a full return on this defective one...

call the customer service number and get a new one, that's what i did...and just return the other one..they were able to pull up my original order and only charged me $8.31 i believe for the new one

Is there sound on these? It seems odd that there would be no sound, but my little one is having issues with that.

So far the one we got for DS is working fine after several weeks (knock wood)...haven't heard from SIL about the one we got for my niece.

There is sound on it. We got DS and DN each a 2GB card to expand the recording memory.

so do you hear the sound on the recorder or do you have to put it on your laptop to hear it?
