JC Penney having penny sale Sunday

I saw this online - http://finance.yahoo.com/news/jcpenney-just-made-most-desperate-204000330.html about JCP having a penny sale Sunday and other times in the coming months. Some items will be only a penny and others will be buy one get a 2nd for a penny. It'll be their brands only.

I saw on their facebook that it will also be online and that their promotions often start at midnight central, so I may check it out Saturday night online since that will be 10 for me.

I used to shop there a lot, until they had the rebrand. Now I buy less due to not liking the clothes, though they do have a few of their brands they haven't messed up. Curious about the sale, they won't release what's on sale before it starts.

Wow, that's interesting for sure! I also used to shop there a lot, but then when they rebranded and started this boutique model, it's just hard to shop there for me. I feel like they have their "boutiques" kind of boxed in, and it's hard to find my personal style. If they do this online, I will definitely look in.

I am with you, I used to shop there a lot, 1st they rebranded and boxed everything in and you could not find anything I felt like I was running all over the ladies department , now in some of the stores they are trying to sorta move everything back to the way it was, so its transition back .. but.. its confusing. I used to like some of there shorts and casual tops, and dresses the everyday style.. Hope they bring it back.

Just saw this. I was at the mall today and always park in front of jc Penney because it's never crowded. It was packed today.....guess that explains it!
