What are your thoughts... We'll be in the parks 3 days, we will only do a a single formal sit down dinner once.. I need to make PS. I am torn between,

those listed above.. help me out here, which is better why...

It will be me 31, DH 33, DD8 DD3

TIA

Here is my 2 cents....

I have eaten at both.

Rainforest Cafe: Is all about theming. It is really cute inside with all the anamatronic animals and fish tanks. My kids loved, loved this restauruant when they were your kids ages. They would pick this restauraunt for sure! The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it is ok, sometimes it is good. If you have never taken your kids to a Rainforest Cafe, I would say this would be a good choice for them.

Jazz Kitchen: This is more adult. It is has great subtle theming. But I thought the food was really, really delicious.

I would go back to Jazz Kitchen in a heartbeat if it was me...but your kids will love Rainforest Cafe.

I agree, Rainforest is all about atmosphere. I don't care for the food there but the kids love it. If you want to please the kids, go here.

I love the Jazz Kitchen. Have not had a bad meal there at all. The jambalay is fantastic, especially if you ask them to make it extra hot. If you want to please the adults or you're kids are more adventurous eaters, go here.

I think it depends on what you're looking for. Foodwise I've liked what I've had at both, atmosphere/family wise definitely go for RFC. My girls love RFC and we eat there a lot. :)

The Jazz Kitchen is a unique southern style of cooking that has gone fancy. There are many Rainforest Cafes around the world and they are a fun place but if I could do booze and and had no allergies then I would pick the Jazz Kitchen for their fine dining that you do not find from Rainforest. Remember that Rainforest has a set menu that is used around the country and on a busy day will have some annoying guests like the baby that cried at high notes and never was hugged or comforted or anything. Some parents will turn the kids loose. One time a party of 10 or more sent the waiter back constantly, can we have was heard over and over and we the other guests never could use the waiter properly as he was at their table running errands constantly.

Prefer Jazz Kitchen.

I've never been to the Jazz Kitchen, however our most recent trip we ate at the Rainforest Cafe and it was great EXCEPT there was no seating inside, so they offered us patio seating, which I thought was going to be awsome......uuummm no. They had these giant pole heater things that were sooooooooooooo hot. I called them brain boilers. I asked our server to please turn them down, which they did, but it did not help. I couldnt enjoy myself because my head was so hot. It didn't bother any of my other family members though, so I may just be really sensitive to heat or something. I really wish we could have sat inside because on the walk in and when we were leaving it looked really neat, but loud. I really think your kids would like it, and I saw this huge volcano thing some of the people were ordering that looked really yummy. We didn't order one because at that point we were too full.

Kids will have more fun at RFC. But the food is better at Jazz Kitchen, no doubt about it.

I would go with RFC. My family, except I, do not care for the Jazz Kitchen food. So, the majority rules. RFC.
