I've heard that the Jaws ride has had some "new special effects added" and a re-hab. Is it open yet? If so, can anyone spread some light onto what the changes are (if there are major changes, be kind and say SPOILER ALERT!) Thank you.

I would love to see some new "scenes" on this attraction...

Nope, no new special effects have been added. I think the most obvious (for visitors) thing done while it was down was that the sharks were cleaned/skin replaced.

Speaking of Jaws, I've got a question for those who have ridden it in the last few weeks. Is the "wall of flames" (can't think of a better name for it) effect still off?

I did not notice any new effects but I rode it twice and each of the guides put there own twist on their dialogue.

I haven't seen it back on since it came out of rehab.

There seems to be less fire than there used to.

When we rode it last week it was not the wall of Flames as in the past. We rode it many times during the day and noticed the flames were tamed down. My husband and son rode it at night once and said they did have more flames at night. They appeared to turn them up at night. He said the ride is better at night.
