Since my ISP is down and I am on slow dial up, I am going to just type everything in this one trip report and I will copy it and paste it in Dinning too.

Everyone always seems to have either a really bad time or a really good time so to make everyone happy I will find at least one bad & one good thing to say about everything.
First off, THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT!!! :beach: The only down fall...that one is tough, I guess it did try and rain a little Friday evening, but wasn't enough to really amount to anything and it didn't really bother us.

We Stayed @ POP March 24-31. We were in the 50's building room 1302.
The good things about the room...The AC was good and cold, we could see the pool, and we were close to classic hall. The bad..well our mousekeeper wasn't very good. There was plenty of dust and the floors needed a good vacum and mopping.
Front desk CM's, were all great, although luggage assistants didn't really seem to know their job. We were part of a Pop fridge swap and they couldn't find it...but the front desk CM walked straight over there and straightened it out for me. (THANKS JUDY!)

The crowds...well this was our first trip during spring break so we were not sure what to expect. The beginning of the week wasn't bad, but the closer it got to the weekend before Easter...:crowded: :crowded: :crowded: .
Fastpasses and EMH really came in handy! The longest wait we had was on SM at it was about 35 minutes with a FP.

Disney Transportation...about the same as always. Seemed like we either waited longer than we thought it should take or that the bus was quicker than expected...nothing major to report either way though.

New things at the Parks:
MK...Loved the addition of Capt. Jack to the POTC. The Monster Inc. laugh floor was very cute. Reminds me alot of the Turtle talk with Crush.
AK...skipped the new Nemo show. They were lineing up 90 minutes early, and it just wasn't that important to my kids.
EP...I thought the new Nemo and friends ride was cute but the kids were kinda bored with it.
MGM...can't think of anything new.

Dinning:
Saturday...
Lunch @ Electric Umbrella...burgers & Chicken (not much to report)
Dinner @ Garden Grill...Food was so-so. Character interaction was great as always. Waiter a little slow (which seemed to be a theme for us alot this trip). My main problem was with the people who decided that standing in front of our table for 10 minutes over looking the living with the land boat ride. Maybe I am just knit picking, but wasn't really wanting a view of others backsides...I enjoy the rotation of the resturant myself and like to see the things around me...ok, complaining about that over now.
Sunday...
Breakfast in the room, I think we just grabbed donuts and milk (but not sure).
Lunch @ Sci Fi...Food was ok, waiter was fine. Only thing I would change...menu seems smaller each trip and the prices seem higher. This is a kid favorite so we keep going back.
Dinner @ 50's Prime time...Food was good, waiter good. Themeing seemed to be down som though.
Monday...
Breakfast @ Donald's Resturantasaurus. Food was ok but our waitress was SLOOOW. At least we didn't have to wait forever to be seated...I like the change that they made there. Seems like before they took large groups at a time and the waiter would be in charge of the section. now they take you as your turn rolls around. Much better less crowded at the buffet too.
Lunch...We skipped it and had a snack instead since we were having an early dinner. Funny how McDonald's french fries call your name while you are strolling around AK.
Dinner @ Rainforest cafe (AK). $$$ but pretty good.
Tuesday...
Breakfast @ everything Pop (pancakes, waffles, omlets, etc) Not much to report either way.
Lunch @ Cosmic Rays. Best CS meal we ate I think. Chicken and ribs...Good and good value too. only complaint...you need those little towelets with ribs!
Dinner @ Cape May Cafe. YUM!!! Slow Waitress though. (see what I mean about a patern for us...not just us, the people at the table next to us complained too).
Wednesday...
I don't remember what we did for breakfast or lunch...didn't write it down.
Dinner was supposed to be at Boma but my DH decided he didn't really want to try it after all so we ended up going to Planet Hollywood instead. We had a $15 coupon with our package so that payed for one of our meals. Bill was still $$$ tho. But we had a good time.
Thursday...
Breakfast @ Crystal Palace. Food was good, Waiter was GREAT, character interaction was pretty good too. Lets see, something bad, well our table was up against a pole and I kept hitting my elbow...does that count? Other than that, nice time!
Lunch @ Casey's. No problems with the food, or the CM's. I did notice later that night I was over charged, but I went down to the front desk and they straightened it out for me. Other than that...no problems there! FYI...great place to grab a table and watch the show at the castle. Some of the trees get in the way, but all in all not a bad spot. (Some tables have no view though).
Dinner @ Wispering Canyon...Food was good and very feeling. We ended up getting our desserts to go and enjoyed them back in the room that night.) Waiter was a little slow in the beginning but made up for it with a little extra TLC during the meal. My only complaint was where we were seated. We were not in the main dinning room, but rather a side room that only had about 5 tables there. If this were a quiet dinning experience this would have been perfect but if you have ever eaten at WCC you know this is not the case. Our kids missed out on the fun...so did we. We actucally asked our waiter for Ketchup and got 1 bottle. We asked for crayons, got a little tin of them. The stick horse race, was in the other room, and we heard it as it was ending...:guilty: .
Friday...
Breakfast @ Everything POP.
Lunch @ The Plaza...We were so disappointed. The waitress was not only a slow as could be, she was rude. The food was blan and in all honesty just not very good. Save your TS credits...not worth it. If you must go, pay OOP. The good point...they have a decent banana split.
Dinner @ Coral Reef...Not just the waitress but the entire resturant seemed to move in slow motion. Several people were asking for the manager, and others were leaving without getting their meals becasue the kids were getting fussy and hungry. We waited it out, and we were so glad we did. The app. were so so...but the New York Strip was excellent, and the cheesecake was excellent! But the highlight of this meal was seeing Mickey himself scuba dive. Our waitress said this was a very rare thing and this was only like the second or third time he had done it this year. It was very cool!
Saturday...
One last breakfast at Everything Pop, MGM EMH and then hit the road to come back home. By the way...the longest trip home ever! Between all the Spring Break traffic and construction and then add in the Final four being held in Atlanta...:scared1: yikes...what a mess!

All in all we had a really great time and I can't wait to do it all again...:dance3:

Sorry it was so long, I just wanted to get everything in one post. If I missed something, let me know, or if you have any questions...just ask!

Really liked how you gave a short review for so many restaurants. Thanks for taking the time to put it all together.

When our kids were younger, we always hoped for very fast service in the restaurants -- before the kids got bored or crabby waiting for their food!

Nowadays, the kids are teens and the slow service can be a nice break -- we chat the days events while we rest our tired feet.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could ask for the faster service tables when needed, and relax in the slower service tables when we want to relax?

Great report!

It's too bad you didn't get to experience WCC in the main dining room, my kids still talk about this place since they had SO much fun there.

I think I would have asked to wait until a main dining table became available. Hope you get back there someday.

We had no clue that when we were seated that we would end up missing out on everything. I assumed that they would still come around in this section as well. But regardless the meal was good and we will go back!

Great report,thanks for sharing

I agree with WCC... we were set in the "back room" also. The food more than made up for it though. After hearing all the shouting, I was almost happy to be behind the scenes.

I'm glad you had such a good time.

Thanks for the report. You did great.
I do have a question for you though. I noticed you stayed in values many times over the years and went to Mod and back to Pop.
I am thinking about upgrading this time around, its a toss between, Pop, Music and CBR. Why did you opp to go back to Value? Was there something lacking in the Moderate? Its going to run around $1000 more to upgrade for us as we need 2 rooms so I thought I'd pick your brain alittle and see why the change?
Thanks Penny:hippie:

Well there was a couple different reasons we went back to the value...
We had planned a different vacation (YES I KNOW...:scared1:) but then about 3 months prior to our trip we changed everything. Since we were going over spring break I wanted to get things taking care of ASAP! I didn't waste any time in calling my AAA TA and since I knew we all had enjoyed POP before I just went ahead and booked it again. After we told the kids what we had done they even were excited to go back to the Value for the big ICONS and the all around fun feeling you get there! Also, I picked Pop again because it was a little cheaper yes...with having switched everything over so quickly I wanted to make sure that I would not have any problem paying it off before we left so the value sounded a little better considering it was Christmas time...and Pop has it's own bus...so I selected it over the All-Stars.
OK, now I enjoyed POR...and the additional room of the Mod's. The double sink and changeing area made a big difference...I just didn't realize how much until it wasn't there this trip...but nothing we could not work past. May I ask how many you are traveling with why you need 2 rooms? I know POR offers rooms with a trundle that will sleep 5...just in case that helps.
Let me know if you need anything else!
