We had my 15 month old son's first haircut done at the barber shop at MK on Monday. If anyone is considering it, I absolutely recommend it! We had quite a long wait since there are only 2 chairs and the barbers take their time with everyone. Unfortunately, we got there right behind a family that had their baby's hair cut, then dad and 2 uncles all had their hair cut as well. Jason wasn't great about waiting but we stuck it out and it was well worth it.
Heather was the barber that cut Jason's hair. Jason sat on dh's lap and Heather covered him with stickers. She lightly wet his head and was able to do a great looking little boy cut on him, even though he was wiggly and kept wanting to hold her hand
She had a small napkin that she kept laying his hair on for me (I didn't even have to ask) and when she was finished, she wrapped his hair neatly and fastened it with a Mickey sticker. Heather sprinkled Mickey confetti on Jason's head and put a set of Mickey ears on him that said "first haircut". We also have a certificate for his baby book.
The price was $12 and we tipped her $3 so for $15 we have a great memory and a little boy now instead of a baby
