Jason Garcia Announces He is Leaving the Sentinel

Jason Garcia just posted a couple of personal updates on his twitter feed:

Bit of personal news: I'll be leaving the Sentinel at the end of the month. Have accepted a job as a writer at Florida Trend magazine.

I'll still occasionally write about Disney. But I'll have more of a focus on state politics and broader business issues going forward.

From Jason's replies to well-wishers/mourners:

Hopefully I'll still find a way to occasionally weigh in on SW.

(he means Sea World, not Star Wars).

[Disney] can't stop me from live-tweeting earnings calls. Invite-only media events, on the other hand...

Luckily, I'm told I can take my snark with me when I leave.

Their no one that works harder then you jack or writes better blogs or anything. You can focus more on theme parks and legal issues that will capture and have the readers on the edge if their seat wanting more.
