I guess with only a month and two weeks to go I should start a planning journal!!!!
Most of the details of my big day are done.
I guess I will start with how my DF and I met. We went to high school together but we did not meet till my senior year. We were both at a beach party and were introduced by a mutual friend. We got to know each other and started hanging out and before I knew it we were dating
. We dated all through college and then in April of 2005 we got engaged.
HOW HE PROPOSED:
My DF was working at a vet clinic at the time and we had just got a new puppy (Cody), so one day my DF calls me and says that he was looking at Codys shot records and noticed he was due for one and asked me if I could bring Cody in b/c they were not very busy at the clinic. So I grabbed Cody, hopped in my car, and headed to the clinic. When I got there, everything was normal, one of the techs let me in a exam room and my DF took Cody to get his weight, etc. Then my DF and the Dr. come back to the room and they have all the needles and meds on the counter and the Dr. looks at them and turns to my DF and says I think you forgot something and my DF turns to the cabinet and instead of grabbing medicine he pulls out a bouquet of my favorite flowers and a ring and gets on one knee....at this point I notice that everyone that works at the clinic is in the room with us and all the girls are teary (of course I was totally oblivious to this before...lol) I started crying and we all know what the answer was!!!
Deciding where to get married was easy. Disney always had a special place between my father and I. It is a tradition for my father and I to see any disney movie that came out together. I love alladin b/c my father always called me his little Jasmine! My father loved WDW and it will always have a special place in my heart! Ever since I was a little girl my dad told me he wanted to see me get married in WDW and even though he wont be there in person I know he will be there in spirit.
We set the date for thursday july 26, 2007. The ceremony will an intimate and it will be held at the wedding pavillion at 2:30 pm followed by the reception (cake and champagne) We are having dinner at Ohanas and then finishing the night with a wishes cruise on the grand 1. The rehearsal dinner will be at Jikos in the AKL on july 25.
We have hired randy chapman for photography and stan for videography. I am still debating on who to have for hair and make up (debating b/w beaute speciale and on site beauty)

My sister is my maid of honor (we are very close) and my little brother (he is in the picture with my DF and I up top) is the ring bearer.

They are gorgeous and I have to give you props. I don't think I could manage to pull those off!!!! Well I suppose I could if I just stood still and let the wedding come to me!
