Jasmine and the Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique

Back when we hit our 180 days I called and made an appointment for my DD8 for the bibbiti bobbiti boutique on the day we're going to MNSSHP. I figured it would just add to her costume (after all, she was going as disney princess). This is going to be a surprise for her. Well, we went and got the halloween costumes the other day. My dd2 is going as Cinderella but my dd8 insisted on being Jasmine. I have nothing against Jasmine and it's a gorgeus costume but I'm thinking the trip to the boutique would now be useless. None of the hairstyles they have would look right with the Jasmine costume. All she really needs is a ponytail. Has anyone been there that has any ideas? Like I said, we're going to the Halloween party that night so I want her hairsyle to look appropriate to her costume.

Jasmine is also my daughter's favorite. In May, she wore her Jasmine costume all around the park with her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique hairdo. She looked wonderful. She was so happy to have her makeup done, her hair glittery, and a little "bling" sticker on her cheek. She did not even say anything about not looking like Jasmine. Have your daughter look at the brochure and pick a "do" and I bet she will be happy with it.

Is the BBB trip for you or your daughter? If it's for your DD, let her pick out whatever hairstyle she wants and let her have her moment. None of the styles are inappropriate, and the purpose is to have a fun, unforgetable experience. Pick your battles wisely

I agree, let her choose & go for it! We'll be doing the same on Sept. 29th, and it's a surprise for my dd's 5th birthday!

My dd 6 loves jasmine. She was jasmine for halloween last year, bought her the jasmine costume from wdw and wants the new jasmine costume from the disney store for this halloween. I told her she has to pick either another jasmine costume (which will make 3, but we will get it big enough to come to disney with us in 2008) or cheetah girls concert. of course she said both.
