They’ve had it rough the past few days with earthquakes

The flight crew on the large jet did a great job handling emergency evacuation, they are to be commended.

Oh man, did that crew ever do a great job! It's amazing they got everyone off and cleared out of the way in such a short time.

I'm glad I found this article, I think it highlights what (passengers & crew) was done right in this situation. Does make me wonder if it would be the same in other cultures.

I’ve seen reports today that the JAL Airbus 350 had permission to land but the Coast Guard plane was not cleared for takeoff. This link includes transcripts.

There have been a lot of these mix-ups and near misses in the news lately, prior to this.

I know, right? With some of the videos we see today of unruly passengers inside planes it makes you wonder.

I had the same thought last night about hearing how well the passengers followed the rules, didn't put up an argument about getting their stuff, and orderly got off the plane. Call me a pessimist, but I don't think we would have fared so well here.
