Is January a good time to go ? Is anything opened ? How are the crowds ?

I have been in Jan/early Feb a couple of times and will be doing the land/sea Jan. 19-26, 2006. The weather is anyone's guess. I've been there with turtlenecks, coat, & Mickey hat, but I get cold easily. However, 2 years ago there were record highs in the upper 70s/low 80s every day!

Crowds - there are none! The week after New Year up until President's Weekend is one of the emptiest times to go. I would definitely recommend it, unless you are set for water parks, lounging at the beach, etc.

Thanks so much

january 14th is my birthday and i figured since we got to go for my husbands in june, i want to go for mine lol

we lived in montana for 4 years so as long as its not montana weather we will be ok :rotfl:

We love going in January!! We will be there this year from the 5th-11th. No lines or crowds. Parks close a bit early, but with EMH you never know. Also, the weather can be particular, but I kinda like visiting the parks without the scorching sun!! :sunny:

We're going the 15th-22nd. I'm very fair skinned and burn easily, so I'm almost looking forward to going when it's not nearly so hot. I am hoping for relatively warm, but living in New England...that could mean 60's which other people would consider cold.
