Ok, I want to know what the weather is like right now at Disney. We would like to go next January (middle to end) and I am curious what to expect weather wise.

Any disers at Disney right now that can answer?
Thanks!

Hi! I'm not in WDW, but I'm in Florida and I'm awake. Surely that counts for something!:wave2:
I'm in the Panhandle of FL (up an hour, over left four hours, down 1 hour.) The first week of January I was running the AC and DH was dragging my plants out of the garage, that were there "just in case" over Christmas. The weather got into the high 70's and we were running the AC. My children actually got in the pool one day.
Last week, was iffy with windows open, AC, and/or heat. This week has been cool to cold. Tonight we're under a hard freeze warning. Potted plants are back in the garage, and the rest will die down to the ground.

Florida is strange in many, many ways other than its people. ;)

January is an excellent month to visit the world. The temps are around 70s during the day. At night and early in the morning could be a little colder, but nothing that a sweater or light jacket can solve. It hardly rains and most days are sunny, so that is another plus. It's also good in terms of crowds.
I love florida in the winter, I think it's the best time of the year.

We leave today and it's going to be low to mid-60s this week during the high and 40s during the night. We generally always pack sweats, gloves, hats, and a coat. We never swim during our Jan/Feb trips, but do lay by the pool to warm ourselves. Only once did it ever get to 80 for one day several years ago. It's still a nice time to go, but doesn't compare to my late April, early May trips.

We leave today too! Highs for the week are tomorrow which is 72...rest of the week is high 60s! We are ready for some warm!

January can be almost any temperature between 25 and 85. Pack all kinds of clothes. It can also be unpredictable in terms of rain. "Normal" weather for January is 60-70 degrees during the day, clear, no rain. However, if a big front is coming through, that can drop significantly and rain all day. It's not like the summer, when you can basically count on it raining every day at around 3pm. This year, the first week of January was warm, now it's really cold. Think layers. And don't get your kids' hopes up about pools/water parks/Kali River Rapids.

We just got back last night. First day was in the low 80's - yesterday only in the 50's. Started the day out COLD (30's) but we dressed in layers and as the afternoon progressed it actually turned out to be very pleasant. It was probably our favorite trip weather-wise. We are from Texas, so 50's are still cool, but being from up north it may feel great!

Have an awesome time - we sure did!

We just got back yesterday. Came home to below zero weather so I am missing those 50s in Orlando.
The last two out of three years we have needed clothes for three seasons! A lot of people had their winter jackets on yesterday. The wind was very chilly, but the sun was beautiful. Unless, of course, you're one of the crazy folks who walks around Disney in shorts and a tank top no matter what the weather. Like the PP said layers are the way to go.
Last year we had 80s the whole week and spent the week in the pool instead of the parks. If you go in January you need to follow the weather closely right up until you leave or you're going to spend some serious money on clothes.:)
