January weather at Hilton Head

Hello: We're thinking of going to Hilton Head mid January for a cycling holiday. What can we expect the weather to be like? Has anyone done cycling there? We usually like to do 30 miles at a time. Thanks

Well, there are great bike paths all over the place, set off the road. But you'll be biking around the island several times in order to get 30 miles in! Most of it is flat, but you can bike up and over the toll bridge road--great view!

Any news on the weather in January? We just made a reservation for January HH, too!

We were there for New Years a few years ago and it was 70 degrees and sunny! Don't count on that, though...it will likely be pleasant but may be significantly cooler (which I guess is good if you are biking long distances!)
