Planning a trip for early next year. Here are the pros and cons:

January (27-Feb3): worried about the weather being too cold BUT no cheerleaders ( :cheer2: ) and small crowds

February (10-17): maybe a little better weather (??), BUT cheerleaders for a weekend and more crowded (right before Pres Week)

HELP!! Any opinions? I am so indecisive, it's crazy!

I wouldn't make the decision based on weather... it can be just as cold in February! Other than that, the crowds should be manageable both weeks as long as you avoid President's Day weekend.

I agree with the above poster. Weather is about the same both months. Actually Feb tends to be a bit colder. Also like to point out that Speedweeks in Daytona start out on Jan 26 for 2006. And yes some of this crowd flocks south to Disney but doesn't have much effect on the parks but it does on reservations.

been in feb and jan. Jan is better for crowds and we've had 80+ degree days as well as those 35 degree days. Feb can be just as bad. Last trip in Jan I didnt wait in 1 line.

We went in Jan of '04 and I think we used fastpass twice in the entire trip and it was a holiday weekend. I took shorts and long pants and used both. Oh, and it was 3 degrees and snowing at home in Virginia while I was in Florida so I had no complaints about the little bit of rain.

Definitely don't decide based on weather. We've been the past 2 Januarys, Jan 20-28, 2004 and Jan 6-13, 2005; both years we had fantastic weather and low crowds. But both years the weather in other weeks was much colder, so you really just never know! To book a trip at that time of year you have to make up your mind that weather isn't going to ruin your trip no matter what.
