January trip

We are planning a January 2013 trip and I'm surprised by the prices! We went in September 2011, and I have heard January and Feb are the cheapest months, yet the prices I'd $1200 more!! Has anyone gone in January and willing to share? I'm just wondering if specials due to be released in the fall are great discounts or if I should just replan the time period.

Certain weeks of Jan./Feb. are the CHEAPEST you will find all of 2013.
Prices went up for tickets and hotels.
Make sure you have the days/options checked that you want on tickets, plus the correct "view" for hotel.

The discounts for Jan/Feb will come out around September of this year. In 2010, we got 2 nights free with the purchase of 5, and in 2011 we got free dining. There were also room only discounts available in 2011. If you look at the rack rates, they are cheapest in late Jan/early February.

It's a great time to go because the crowds are so low!

We went in January 2012 and it was awesome! We were able to get free dining which worked out so good for us. And yes, crowd levels were pretty low. And the weather was everything from shorts and a t shirt, to 2 sweatshirts and jeans, to rain ponchos. We will definitley be going back in 2013, we are just waiting to see when free dining is announced.
