We already have the 13-18 now we're trying to add the 12,18,and 19. The bad thing is we won't know if we can go for sure till it gets a little closer. Trying to think positive.

Well nevermind, just found out that we can't go that week, so now we're trying to get the next week.

I'm actually going to cancel some days between the 12th and 19th, but haven't figured out exactly which days I need to cancel yet. I realize that's not very helpful for you, other than to say that there is hope. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has trouble nailing down dates that far in the future.

I was very surprised that we couldnt get reservations for January. I thought that since most of the kids would be back to school at the end of the month after Christmas and New Years, that it would be easier. We have gone to Ft. Wilderness in May and October, and would really like to go in January.

I was wondering why i couldnt get reservations! Thanks for the update. Since my youngest just finished high school in June, I was always following my kids school schedules to plan their vacations. Now that she is in college and has the month of January off, i thought it would be a great time to go to Ft. Wilderness. I really hate the winters here in NY!

FYI - We tried to book Jan. 2009 a month ago and it was already booked up with the snowbirds. Who would have thunk it?
