Hi all!

I will be going to Uni for the first time the first week of January before heading over to WDW for Marathon weekend.

The last of the details that I'm really waiting on are Uni park hours! We're under 60 days now; any idea when January park hours are typically posted?

Thank you. :)

I am waiting too ...Usually they are out about 3 months before, but apparently not this time

Touring plans predicting 9-7 both parks every day for that week except for Wed (9-6 US 9-7 IOA). EE hours are US only 8-9.

Another person here waiting for January hours for both Universal and Seaworld/Busch Gardens. I'm traveling Jan 2nd through Marathon Weekend. Neither chain has released their January hours yet. I'm only planning on 1 day at Busch Gardens so want a day with long hours there and if Universal has short hours that's a bonus.

You can go backwards to last January to get an idea of what to expect.

I know last year, in January most of the time one park or the other was open until 7:00 p.m. The first week right after New Years and Martin Luther King weekend the parks were open later. There was only one day when both parks closed at 6:00 (Monday Jan. 13th).

Another one here waiting for Jan/Feb (first days) hours and rehab schedule for : USF, IOA, SW e BGT. popcorn::

Hi, where did you know about Jan rehabs ?

I don't know for sure. But every Jan they start rehabbing the water rides ( Jurassic park , Popeye and Dudley do rights) one at a time and for around 2 weeks per ride. They have done this the last few years and we went Jan 2012 and Jurassic Park was the ride closed..I am hoping it isn't closed on our trip this year, but it is what it is..Universal does not announce rehabs that far in advance either.

True..BUt at least they do them ONE at a time and not all at the same time..Hoping Dudley Do right is the one down during my visit..LOL

My first day is at Universal is January 2nd, than 4 of the 5 day Jan 6-10. With January 2nd being "peak" Christmas/New Years time I'm hoping "everything" is open. My goal for that day is to do the Christmas stuff (Macy's Parade, Blues Brother Christmas, and Grinchmas) and hit any rides going down for refurb just after Christmas. In addition to the water rides, the rumor of Twister closing to change into a different attraction. Although recent rumors have it happening later than this winter.

My MK day is January 4th and it's the last day for Splash Mountain before it goes down for refurb.

In a related note, Universal has published a smattering of park hours for January.

I see that..Of course only the first 3 days of my trip are available..wonder why they don't have the hours for the 21-28th, but have 29th onward ( I know that Is for the HP event)

The hours posted so far are longer than usual for January. This is first January with DA open. Maybe that has something to do with it.

The rest of January's Hours are posted. Compared to last year, they got rid of all of the 9:00 - 6:00 days. Also, early January hours right after New Years are longer than last year.
