So I didn't notice any cell phone payments, heat/electric payments and just general bills being included in the no buy January. Is everyone not including them?

So I didn't notice any cell phone payments, heat/electric payments and just general bills being included in the no buy January. Is everyone not including them?

I did not include those as those are my standard monthly bills. I only included those items that I was trying to reduce such as groceries, gas, and eating out. I can't really change my mortage, car, insurance bills. I could try to reduce my electric and natural gas bills however with the way our winter has been going I don't have much control over that. :scared1:

We are working on being 100% out of debt by 2024 (mortgae and all), so this thread helps me stay accountable for not buying stuff just to "buy" stuff. I only stepped foot into Target 1 day this month and that is because oldest DS's coat zipper broke and couldn't be repaired. I am usually a weekly target goer and end up buying things I don't really need but because they are a great price I buy. Target is an evil store for me. :rotfl:

I know it may seem silly that a thread on a disney forum provides the motivation to stay on task but it really does. I am looking forward to the Feb. No Buy Thread.
