January Marathon Weekend

DH and I are participating in the January Half Marathon and are staying at BLT (due to the convience of the monrail). How do we get to the ESPN Wide WOrld of Sports to pick up our packets?

I know that it is 6 months away, but I am anxious to get a working intineray in place. Especially since this is my parents first trip.

So if anyone can give me an idea of how to get to the packet pickup it would be greatly appreciated.

Great q. I'm also doing half marathon and staying at BLT. I hadn't even thought of getting to WWOS to pick up the package Anyone???

My friend and I stayed at BLT for this years marathon weekend , we did the half. They will have a bus for you to take to the Expo. The stop was over in front of the CR, in front of the convention center, this year.

Enjoy! It was great staying at BLT! We got on the Monorail at 4:15am and that was good timing for getting to the start, btw. I'll be doing the half again next year, but won't be at BLT this time. Good luck!

As Liznboys replied, there will be buses running direct to WWoS complex.

The buses will not be Disney's ususal park buses. They could be Disney ME or Cruiseline buses or they could be Mears or another busline bus. The pickup spot is clearly marked & so are the buses with the Marathon Weekend Logo in the front window.

A great place for your parents to see you on course is right in front of the CR. As you run up World Drive go under the water bridge, up the hill past CR there is always a great cheering section.
