January in NE and my windows are still open!!!

What the heck is going on??? I am NOT complaining by any means! Today in MA it hit almost 60! Of course, tomorrow it is going to snow but it will be back in the 40's by Tues! 2 years ago we were in such a cold spell it was hard to run from the house to the car (well below zero for ovber 3 weeks!) Today I was outside, taking down my christmas decorations, in a t shirt! Well, if winter continues like this...it will be Spring before we know it! Usually the winters just drag and drag and drag...this year seems to be going by quite nicely!

You just HAD to ruin it! I just closed my windows but it is 72 in my house right now and I do not have the heat on! I am sweltering!!!

Glad to hear my husband wasn't the only one out mowing lawns in this warm weather. Here in Ohio it was 60 on friday. On saturday morning we woke up to a winter wonderland. ice, sleet and snow had come down during the night, making roads awlful. temps were a high of 33 today!! bring back the sun!!!!

Don't you worry, Mother Nature has come back with a vengeance and she's headed in your direction!

We were in the mid-60's yesterday and now the wind is blowing, our windows are rattling and it's in the mid 30's! Earlier it was even snowing a little!

the other day we were in the sixties, yesterday it was mid thirties and I woke up to snow this morning. Tennessee. North of the south and south of the north adn the weather has no idea what to do.

It was really icky here today (so it was YOU hogging all the nice weather!! ). Not really cold...just gray...and damp...and rainy...and windy....your basic "do I have to get out of bed??!!" kind of day.

Is it there yet? This morning, I had the front door open to allow more light in the house. It was in the 50s. By late afternoon, it dropped to the 30s with snow. Now it is downright frigid and the wind is howling. It is on the way unfortunately.

our dalmatian went out in the back yard and ran around like crazy.......she dug up a dandelion green .....her favorite treat and when she came in I had to wash her underside and her feet and legs.......she was a mess of mud and dirt......tomorow snow sleet and freezing rain.....we are in maine...and the weather was just warm and rainy today

Well, Thumper was right on.

Whenever we are getting a crazy weather system (like a thunderstorm or snowstorm), Thumper goes nuts!! I guess his instinct is to hide in stormy weather and since he can't, he gets upset. These past 2 hours, he has been really upset...I KNEW what was coming!! It looks like a blizzard outside right now!! Forget Accuweather...I have "wabbitweather"!!

NH here & it is almost balmy!
rainy & grey here today, but soooo warm
DS16 works at Pat's Peak in Henniker & this weather is definately not good for the ski areas-- & my driveway is a mud pit!
but I am enjoying it
We actually have muscari putting forth green shoots--wonder if this means I'll have no lovely blue flowers this spring???
hmm.. might plant more bulbs tomorrow!
