January hours and crowds?

My DH and I plan on spending January 6th and 7th at US and IOA. We will not be staying on site so we will not have access to FOTL. Can you give me some idea as to the crowds and wait times? Also, does anyone know when the January hours will be posted? Thank you so much!

I assume crowds will be very light. I'm sure they'll close around 6-7pm each night, but it's worth it when the lines are short. I've never heard reports of it being packed in January, even for MLK. The end of February is an even better month to visit. You'll think the place is a ghost town in the morning, but don't get spoiled, in the afternoon people show up.

Crowds should be light. The parks probably will close at 6 p.m. at the *latest*.
