Hi!

We are from MA so we are used to cooler weather. My question is first, are all of the pools heated? Second, is the end of January pool weather? Thank you!

I am from Canada and we always go late Jan early Feb and we have no problem going swimming. Pools are heated but it can be quite cool "running" back to your room when you get our of the pool. When we are there it is mostly people from Canada and the northern US in the pools and others are wearing what we would consider a winter jacket. We figure it is like -35C in Canada at that time of the year and it is about +15C or so when we are swimming.

My DD has braced the oops in February when the sun is out (we are native Floridians) but it is usually too cool for me to try. I stick with the hot tubs

Temps can vary in January anywhere from Brrrr 40's to a quite pleasant high 70's low 80s
Early mornings and evenings are coolest. Mid day is the warmest. We manage to swim a few times during January, mid day. And evening hit the hot tubs.
The pools are heated.

We are from central New York. We were there this past February during a cold spell. One afternoon my kids wanted to try the Nemo pool(heated) and it was packed. However that night(I believe that it was in the 30s) We were coming back from the parks in our coats and there was a group in towels heading for the pool. I guess it depends on how badly you want to swim.

We were there at the beginning of January one year, and it was in the 70's. Our last day was spent swimming and sunning by the pool (we're also from MA).

Of course, the following year we were there in December, and it was 20 degrees!

So the short answer to your question is "maybe." (Just like it's often warm enough to swim in MA on Memorial Day - this year, not so much.)

We went feb 4th this year and we laid by the pool at WL.. The sun was warm but the pool was too cool for us( again, native floridians) so it could be perfect for you

DS and I tried to swim one evening this past Jan in the hippie dippie pool at Pop which is "heated." We only lasted about 5 minutes before DS's teeth began chattering.

We've been to Disney the third week of January for the last seven years. We have always had wonderful weather and were able to use the pools. However, this past January was the coolest temperatures we have experienced. Even though it was cool, I managed a nice afternoon at BWI's quiet pool. Although the air was cool it was sunny. My son swam in the evening.

We are from Ohio so being in Florida during our winter months is a treat. I would definitely plan on using the pools if that is an important part of your vacation.
