Hello - last time I came here for help with my car rental prices you guys ROCKED it, so here I am again.
I am going to MCO January 11-18, 2014.
We used Alamo last time and LOVED them.
As of now (over 4 months away) Alamo is by far the most expensive rental company. Right now, Thrifty with my AAA discount is $245. I've locked that in on the off chance things don't come down in price but any rental codes, tricks or help you can give me for the best price possible, I would be so grateful.
Our #1 choice is Alamo, then Enterprise (those two let you pick your own car) and then Thrifty. The one time we used Budget at MCO they MADE us take the insurance - they wouldn't let us take the car without it, even though I have AAA and our credit card covers us as well as our own insurance. I've hear this is not the norm but I'm leary, as my DH, of using them again because of that experience. (FYI this happened on our honeymoon so we had to pay double the price for the car and that ate into our spending money)
So having said all that, I'd love to hear your tips, coupon codes and secrets for the nicest car at the best price possible.
