January availability

I didn't get to take my usual fall trip to WDW this year because of work commitments <grr>, and I'm too Disney-starved to wait till my usual spring trip.

So....any opinions on late January availability for a studio....say, the 21st - 25th? I figure it's after the marathon and before spring break, so that might help a bit, even on short notice.

I just called yesterday and booked a studio for Feb 4-6th. I had many, many choices. Finally decided to try the BLT MK view that I've already canceled on two other trips! We'll see how long it is before I switch.

I better send some extra luck to you after doing that! I had the choice of MK view or Lake view. I then asked about BCV and that was available. After hearing all of this I had her check AKV Concierge but that's where my luck ended.

Ah, well. I was able to get 1/21 and 1/23 at VWL, and waitlisted 1/22 and 1/24. No studios available at any resort but OKW and SSR for my dates. I'm thinking about trying the first weekend in Feb, since Kat4Disney had luck with that.

I guess it depends on which resort you're looking at. I got an amazing AP rate on a studio at the BWV for MLK weekend which was really surprising (I just booked it last week)., so I would imagine there should be lots of availability for the rest of the month.

We just made reservations for friends at AKV for Jan 24-30. They are in a 1 BR Jambo house. If you do not care where you stay I do not think you will have any issue.Good Luck!
