January 7, 2012-- 7 night Western on the Magic!

Welcome Monica, Mike and Kimberley!

We are booked on this cruise and can't wait! This is the 3rd DCL cruise my hubby and I have been on. We have two girls. They will be 5 years and 1 year when we are cruising. We'd love to do the fish extender. We've never done it before. What do I need to join? I've read a little about the details!

My husband and 2 kids (16 and 13) plus our good friends (2 adults and their sons 25 and 18) are booked on our first every Disney cruise to the Caribbean in January!

We are so excited about it and I have been finding these discussion boards so helpful and full of information.

We are coming from Australia - any other Aussie's booked? :)

Looking forward to meeting everyone next year.

We are hoping to book this cruise in the next few days also

We are originally from Australia but moved to CA almost two years ago. My FIL (lives in Australia) will be joining us for this cruise. I am so excited that we might be joining you all!! We just sailed a 3 night Bahama cruise in May but it was way too short and hoping this will make up for that :) There will be myself, my husband, his dad and our two daughters who will be 4 and 5 (almost 6) when we sail.

Look forward to following along and hopefully announcing our actual confirmed booking soon!!

our son and daughter-in-law to be are joining us on the cruise! It's their first on Disney!

I have booked our 1st Disney cruise. So excited! My DH and I haven't told the kids yet. I am about to pop with excitement! Our DS will be 8 yrs. old and DD is 6 yrs. old at time of cruising. I am thrilled to have found this forum. I have learned so much. I think the kids will love to be included in the FE. What a fun idea!

We are booked aboard this cruise and I am so excited! We will be sailing to celebrate the end of graduate school for me, and we are hoping to be able to do a back to back with the 7 night Eastern on the 14th!

Is anyone else joining us on this cruise??? :cool1:

We're booked for January 7th :) Our first Cruise. Myself, my parents and my two children (10 & 15) are going as a family. We've done the parks and are really looking forward to our first cruise.

I'm not sure what to expect but I know it will be a great time :) soooooo excited!

We are in for the Fish Extender! The kids came up with a truly "Canadian" design for our fish extender hanger and they are so excited to make it. The gift on the other hand we have yet to figure out but their idea list is full of great ideas.

We're already having so much fun and the cruise is 5 months away :)

Welcome to all the newcomers from the whole gang!

I was away for awhile and it looks like we added many new cruisers to our Jan trip!

Well we have the staterooms about 75% paid for guess it is time to look for insurance.

Do my fellow 1/12/2012 cruisers have any advice about what companies from insuremytrip.com they like and why?

WOW! Looking for airfare - I know it is early but it is looking eeexxxssspensive!

Reporting Aboard! :cool1:

Sailing will be myself, DW, DD (24) and DS (20). We'll be on Deck 5.

This will be DW's and my second Disney cruise; ironically, we made the exact same cruise this year. We've also several other cruises behind us, but it will be DD's and DS's first cruise. I'm glad to see there will be other young people onboard for them to mingle with.

Welcome!

Go to the main board, Disney Cruise Line Forum, and search for "fish extenders" or "FE" and you'll get plenty of hits describing what it is, how its done (varies slightly with each cruise meet group), and some very useful ideas for FE gifts.

You can order a FE on-line or make your own. They don't have to be fancy. On my last cruise one participant used a lightweight tote bag.

Looks like we're going to have a fair number of young adults (18-25) on this cruise. It'll be our DD's (24) and DS's (20) first cruise as well.

Just booked our airfare for this January cruise - there is no backing out now!
