yes thats true, its 15(ish) days until we leave for florida which is very exciting :goodvibes but the looooong plane flight isn't as exciting as it used to be

wow 22 hours of driving you are dedicated!! i hate driving long distances, lucky for us it only takes an hour to reach the other side of the country :rotfl: but i think i would have put up with 22 hrs to go on a disney cruise too

Hi. I've been READING like crazy- there's so much on this board!

Just learned about the fish extenders, I'm going to try to get one made between now and when we leave 12/31.

We are a family of 5, coming on our first ever cruise! We are SO excited, and I'm getting so nervous that I'll forget something major!

It will be me, dh, dd (16 y/o), ds (19 y/o) and my mom. The kids will be in a room with my mom, dh and I will be ALONE! :D

Dd and I participated in some of the swaps over the summer and enjoyed this board very much. Just wondering if we'll get to meet any of you all. And, I'd love to participate in a fish extender gift program if anyone knows of any going on that week.

Anyway, it's great to be here! Hoping to meet some of you in person!

WELCOME to 4 days on the WONDER!!!!:cool1:
We are almost there....as my daughter told me tonight, "just a few more sleeps" and she is 17 years old!!!
You are going to have a blast! Trust me!

Our family will be there too. Me (DW), DH, DD(8) and DS(5) can wait for our disney vacation. We will be leaving on 12/31. This is our first cruise with the kids. DH and I have sailed on Alaska cruise before.

WELCOME!!!! Again you are going to have a blast......

hi :wave2: its going to be a really great trip, i can't wait to meet you all :goodvibes

I was wondering about the fish extenders too, who is taking one and how many gifts should we bring to give?? I'm not sure. I'm getting my grandma to make us one because im not very good at sewing :rotfl:

We dont use the fish extenders or get involved in the gift thing. I am not sure what that is all about.
We are in the midst of a major snow storm, so the thoughts of the cruise are keeping me warm....:cool1:

What are the fish extenders you are all talking about?? I am very curious. Probably don't have time though. Our flight leaves next week Tues. I too am worried I will forget something. You should see how much I pack for a day trip to Disneyland...so you can only imagine what I am packing for this trip.:smickey:

I am really excited to see how this ship is different than the OLD Disney Cruise I went on "The Big Red Boat"

We don't do the fish extenders or gifts either. I read of one cruise who just returned. They hung stockings up there and had stocking stuffers. But honestly, last year I forgot my door signs, and I know I would have forgotten any stocking stuffers (we cruised in early December). I think it's enough that I can get myself and the whole family (our family of 9 and my parents and sister) booked, hotels before and after booked, car services in between, all that stuff. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: After all that, I just reward myself with a dip in the hot tub by the adult pool!

I wonder when we'll get our cruise documents. I called DCL a few days ago, and they said about 2 weeks out. Well, 2 weeks out is the heart of Christmas, so will we get them before, or after the holiday mailing rush?

If you want, post when you get your documents and where you are from, so we can track them across the continent.

I tell the kids only 3 more days until we get on the ship, but there is a 15 day vacation in the middle there! They don't care, they like any kind of count down!

Only 17 days until we leave!! This is crazy!! Where has the time gone!?! I remember the 4 night actually felt like it was a week on the ship, so I'm sure time will slow down once we get on the ship.:thumbsup2

yes, everyone post when they receive their documents. Yes, life slows down, but the four days go way too fast.....

hello everyone, Im one of the nokidz kids lol We are leaving in 16 days and im so excited. Most of my traveling has just been in Canada, so this is a new adventure for me. Im 16/f, if theres any other people who are around my age feel free to say hi on here and maybe ill see you on the cruise.:hippie:

My travel agent says they shipped our documents out Tuesday and should be here by Thursday. I hope they get here soon because we are leaving in 6 days!!:tink:

We got papers for 1/2 of us. We are under two different reservations, so only one of them came.

If documents have made their way up to Virginia, ours could be here soon! I can't believe the time has gone so fast! I'll miss High Tea this time, but can't wait for brunch at Palo. Even the kids have gotten excited about checking out the menus. Anyone know the movies onboard yet? I think by now they'll be accurate, but I forgot the phone number. I'm guessing Enchanted will be one of them.

Can't wait to see the Wonder again, especially as we cruised before it went into dry dock. That under-3 kiddie pool area behind the Mickey slide looks like so much fun for my toddler! He's old enough to want to go in the mickey pool, but he's nowhere near potty trained (turned two in October), so he'll have fun splashing around the squirting fountains. We didn't have paninis on the Wonder last time, but they were on the Magic, and they were GOOOD! We may do Bingo again, and the trivia contests are always fun.

AHHH!!! I even want Christmas to just be over with this year, so we can get on the ship!
