January 6, 2008- The 4-night Wonder!

Looks like we will be joining you on the Wonder for the Jan 6th, 2008 cruise. We just booked onboard on our July 15th cruise....:cool1:
There will be 8 of us in 3 staterooms.

Welcome! We will be maxing out our 3 rooms with all 12: me, DH, 6 children in two rooms, then another child in a room with my parents and sister.

We applied for our passports two weeks ago, and they said we should get them by the middle of October, still plenty of time. The baby will be another story. We'll have to expedite the birth certificate as well as the passport, but I think the birth certifiicate should be easy to get at the town hall within two weeks of birth, I think.

We have one room paid off, should pay off the second this week, and then just work on that last room. As long as we have at least two rooms paid off by the October 90 day deadline, we can make our Palo ressies!! Of course, my room is paid off first, so I'm set ;)

we sailed in July with out the kids, now we will be sailing with the kids. this is a last major family outing before some head off the University and such.

Just WONDERing, any more cruisers coming with us? I WONDER if the Xmas decorations will still be up?

I got my passport back a few days ago, only 4 1/2 weeks after applying! It had expired sometime within the past 5 years, so I didn't have to do a complete renewal. But 4 of my kids had passports that expired in 2002-2005, yet theirs are taking longer, probably because they're all under whatever that age is.

I don't know about the Christmas decorations. If we don't see that Tree, the kids are going to wonder, as we've cruised twice before, both during the first week of December. And the gingerbread house? I'd miss that smell! But that's OK, everyone here dreams at least weekly about the food!!

my wife and I have our passports, but we have to get the kids theirs. that is 6 passports. we have done the pictures, now it is getting all the information gathered to submitt them...uuurrrggghhhh.....

Nokidz, how many kids do you have? 4 total, or 6? I didn't think you had any from your user name, but that could just mean you went on your first cruise without them.

We're still waiting for our 6 children's passports, should be here by middle of October, then as soon as the baby is born we have to get that birth certificate and expedite the passport.

There are 8 of us in total. We are a blended family. I have two kids (boy and girl) and my wife has two kids (two boys). Plus we are bring my kids BF and GF along as they are very long term relationships.
My handle was aquired years ago. It is a long story. And yes, we cruised alone, honeymoon, last July. Our first cruise. Now we are taking everyone on a last family outing before some head off to College.

Hi everyone! My DBf and I just booked this cruise today~! :) This is my first cruise so we are trying out the 4 night cruise to see how I like/can handle it~! DBf has been on quite a few cruises.

We applied for the baby's passport this week. This past July, they gave us a 12 week time frame, but the passports came in about 5 weeks. This time they gave us until November 11th, which is about 10 weeks. I doubt it will take that long, especially considering that the summer travel season is over.

Are all returning cruisers paid up and ready to make their 90 day reservations on October 8th? I have a bit to pay off on the third room, and then we'll be ready.

My wife and I have our passports as we cruised on DCL last July. We went to the passport office to apply for the remaining 6 passports last friday. Three of them were accepted and approved and will be in our mail box in about two weeks time. The other three were rejected for numerous reasons. Missing signatures, signatures outside the box ect. So I have to go back to the office, about 1 1/2 hours drive, later this week with the amended applications.
We are Canadian.

Hi!!!

I've been looking for a while but only just found this thread. Were booked to come on this cruise too, it will be our first cruise so were all very excited!! :cool1: I have my countdown on the computer already too!!!

I'm 16 and my parents and sister (13) are coming too. We will be in florida a bit early for new years, we decided that it was worth it as we are coming all the way from New Zealand.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all soon!!!

Welcome! You are about to have a blast. trust me. We have cruised before but this will be our kids first cruise. Ages 20m, 18m, 17m, 17f, 16f & 15m. Dont worry, the time will fly by. Soon, very soon your family will be announced as you walk onto the ship.:cool1: :thumbsup2

momof6innc, where in North Car are you located? We have done some racing at Lowes in Charlotte and done some hockey in Raleigh. We also had table mates on our last cruise from Salisbury.

Not a returning cruiser so I still have a lot to learn (just ordered the Passporter's Cruise Guidebook last week~!) What reservations can you make 90 days out? Thanks in advance~!!

Hi! Our family is going too! I have a 5 and 3 year old. Our friends are coming along too? Are any of you planning on doing the Atlantis Aquaventure?

I tried to post earlier...but now I don't see it. I don't usually talk on message boards but this one sounds fun since we will all be on the cruise together. Hopefully it works this time.

Our family of 4 is going on the cruise. This will be my kids (will be 3 and 5) first cruise...so hopefully they enjoy it.

This is my second time to go on a Disney cruise...but when I went last time the cruise ship was Regal (I think) The Big Red Boat. It sounds similar but a lot better than when I went before so I am really looking forward to it.

Our friends just decided to come along too.

Is anyone thinking of going to Aquaventure at Atlantis??

:tigger:

welcome aboard. glad to have you and your family join us.pirate:

We have decided not to do any excursions this trip. Just going to enjoy the cruise.

Any other cruisers, or do we have the ship to our selves??:cool1:
