Hi guys-
I'm afraid we won't be on this cruise anymore. As you can see by my sig, I had to transfer our reservation to a 4 day Wonder in November! At least we're still cruising!

Also... someone else pointed out to me that November is generally warmer AND the ship will be decorated for Christmas. Plus we may hit one of the parks before the cruise and they will be decorated too! I'm hoping to talk DH into the Magic Kingdom since we went to MGM last time, and I think our 4 year old will love it!

My husband Jim (57) and I (54) will be on the Miracle 1-5-08.

Jokesten, congrats on Ian Thomas (great name). I already told Jim I would be bringing him a present since he'll be 1 year old on departure day, too bad we won't get to meet y'all. Then I read you'll be going on another cruise. Congrats on the panama Canal cruise. It sounds wonderful.

We have no kids Austin, but I'm sure you'll meet alot of kids your age before departure date. Lindsey sounds nice. I'd get her info if I were you.

I'd be happy to know anyone else who'll be on the cruise. I think a meet and greet would be great. Jim and I spend alot of time on these boards. It would be good to get to know some of those we've been reading these last few years.

We are booked!! Also got SPH room on Deck 5! Got the last one we are told...Magicmaker1...do you have all the rest of the SPH rooms?...you have quite a few people going.
We are 50 something DW and DH ( hope I am saying that right, we are new to this) going to WDW Jan1-Jan5...we plan to become DVC ...kids in college right now tho....anyone else going to Disney first? Might be fun to get together...not sure where we are staying yet ...need to rent points ...

Welcome aboard newbydisney! We have 2 of the SPH cabins-5022, 5024. You may be next to us or across the boat. We also want to do WDW for 4-5 days before but are trying to budget that one!

We went on a 4 day 2 years ago and the weather was perfect! It was high 60's -mid 70's at the parks. The cruise was beautiful and not a drop of rain-75 on Castaway Cay day! Let's pray for that weather again!

Hi Guys
We have cruised the last three January's on the first Magic cruise after New Years and the weather on all three was beautiful. We had a little rain last year in the early morning at St Maarten, but still enjoyed a wonderful day at Orient Beach, and some medium swells for two days but otherwise the weather was wonderful. Some thought the water at Castaway Cay was a slight bit chilly but we, being from Huntington Beach, Ca, found it just fine. Orient and Megan's on ST Thomas were very nice and the water there has always been perfect.
We will be going to WDW for 3-5 days before hand, also, and staying at AKL.
We've been there for New Year's and absolutely loved it.

Adding that we are, also, on Deck 5 in 5626. My DW loves the Veranda.
