Congrats!!!! I did my online checkin last week and I dont have my room assignment...well at least I dont think I do????? Where do you find it? I went on right now and it still says GTY #....is that where it will say room # at some point? thanks!

Mine still shows GTY on the main page but if you click on your reservation number - it shows the following in my reservation details:

Thanks for the updated AverysMommy! We did our check-in so DW will be spending a large part of the day refreshing her screen to find out if our room # has been assigned. Hope we're as lucky as you guys!

Yeah - we are on the same floor - same side of hte ship but you are at the back and I am at the front of the ship.

The 5th floor doesnt have a lot of rooms as it has the Buena Vista Movie Theatre and the Kids Clubs. Its a great floor as it is so close to everything for the kids

Oh ok. Good to hear, we did like that it was close to the thing for DS. My concern was that it might be too loud being near the movie theater & kids clubs.

We seldom drive in the city. Usually we metro in. Just traffic on 95 is pretty awful on most weekends - every weekend in the summer and all holiday weekends in the fall/winter/spring!!

But you really should plan a trip to Williamsburg next time. It is a neat family vacation because you can combine all of the history/learning of Williamsburg and Jamestown and Yorktown, add in the kid-friendly fun at Biusch including their water park at Water country USA and then drive another 30 miles (45 min -2 hours depending upon traffic) and go to Virginia Beach. It is a pretty good vacation.

Yeah, I can understand that! I don't think I could get used to all the people & traffic! I drove from National Harbor to six flags on a Monday with DS (non rush hour) & that wasn't too bad. Just a lot more lanes on the highway then around here.
Williamsburg is still on our list, which is getting rather long. I haven't been to that area, & would really like to go sometime.

We are a late night family so the noise wont bother us (we hope)........but i dont remember the kids clubs being all that loud surprisingly. there might be extra running around in the hallways - not sure.

That's good, expect to hear some noise being a family vacation. We really didn't care where we were at or had a clue where the best places to stay was. Nothing to judge it on since this is our first cruise. I have read on other threads that midship to aft is the best place to be if you have motion sickness (which I tend to get). So I was pleased to hear that. We were just tickled to get a veranda (kids stay free) cheaper than the Bahama cruise we were looking at in April.

We went and saw Tangled tonight. It is a REALLY good movie! I really enjoyed it! (So much better than Princess and the Frog I thought). For me, it was as good as Little Mermaid! I laughed the whole way through!

Good to hear! My dd really wants to see this one. I usually go to these movies with her while Hubby does my son to the action shows they want to see.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! We'll probably wait to see it on the ship...we're just assuming since it's Disney's most recent animated release it'll still be on board when we are.

For what it's worth, we both really enjoyed Princess and the Frog as well. I was a bit skeptical going into it, but we watched it and I liked it quite a bit!
