Mt DD decided she was only taking things she liked!! She would go to a house and if they were handing out things she doesn't like, she would say "no thanks" and walk away. Totally mortifying. At one house she asked the man to put the bowl lower, returned the candy he gave her and picked out something else! So glad DH was with her and I only heard about this afterwards - I wouldn't be able to show my face at the bus stop again!

That is hilarous! My DD4 was Ariel (she changed her mind how many times...). At first she really needed an attitude adjustment, thankfully she got out of her 'mood' half way through and had a good time.

She is almost 2 (will be in December), but she has the attitude of a 16 year old. *sigh*

My mother says that DD is just independent and she is so very happy that I am getting the chance to experience what she did 26 years ago.

LOL!!!! Yes I just realize you are the same age as my oldest son...he has no kids..none of them do yet but your mom is right!!! Now the fun begins... Im just teasing you it is great having kids.

We had our halloween on Saturday in our city...Meredith was Belle and Dexter was a turkey.

We got over 110 kids...woah. We were giving out full size candy bars and word got out...

Luckily, I had one of the FE gifts for kids (enough for 60!) so that went into the bucket. The boys kept saying, ack, that's a princess,and rooting around for a toy story or cars or mickey thing.

Now that we are paid in full - I am hoping that a cabin will be assigned but I hear they sometimes wait until the 45 day marker.....

I paid in full so that I could book Palo, the Spa and my Excursions. If you dont want to book any of those things then there is no reason to pay early

My daughter is extremely shy and would kill me for doing this ...lol..but i thought that if she "knew" of someone else attending the kids clubs, she would probably be more apt to try them, because i think she would have fun. Just send me a message if interested in an email pen pal for your tween girl..lol...

(was worried about the same thing...although mine isn't overly shy, lol) i also have a daughter who will be 8 in march, but it seems as if they will be separated in the kids' clubs. we will also be with my parents and brother and sister-in-law who have a daughter, 4.5 and a son, 2.
it's our first cruise.

My DH & DS bought pirate items (bandanna thingy with "hair", eye patches, etc.) at Halloween City half off last night for Pirate night. Just in case anyone else was interested. Any other items I should be on the look out to bring with us???
