I second the WELCOME!!! Yes, it is taking forever! I have been busy with PTO fundraiser and can't wait for it to end. DS and I watched the Dream sail out on Sunday via webcam, it was nice. We also spied on the Magic in Key West. Since he will be staying at home, he has told me that we need to stand in the middle of the ship to wave goodbye to him when we pass (the Fishlips webcam focused on this on the Dream on Sunday). How is that for parental guilt about leaving the kids at home!

Can't believe we hit the 105 booking window already. Not sure what we will book excursion wise yet, but will go for both a Palo brunch and dinner.

Talk about things falling right into place! Yesterday, I paid off the cruise with my TA. Today, a fare sale hit--offering round trip fare out of SHREVEPORT for $208/person (usually around $550 or so)! I just booked air fare for three for $750, including all taxes and fees!!

So, yeah...I think I'm going on a cruise in January! Would any of you like to come along?

We just emailed AngieEstaAqui to try jumping on the FE bandwagon - I am sooo not crafty so we'll see what happens, but the kids will love the surprises so I'll do my best to contribute!

I've got a suitcase open in the closet to throw pirate gear into whenever it surfaces from toyboxes and a growing list of tips and hints.
Excursion wise, my kids will be looking for all the beach time they can get, which makes choosing easier!

WELCOME! We think alike! I have a box that I throw stuff in for the cruise as I come across it (FE, sunscreen, etc...). I can't pull out a suitcase yet as my beagles will rebel, as they do not take us leaving them at home well (as will the kids this time). We are also looking forward to the beach time!

It's been FOREVER since I've posted. Right now I'm in the middle of moving from Omaha down to San Antonio to be with my fiance. I should be down there in three weeks. I am so happy I'm getting out of here soon! I cannot handle another winter up here. Other than that I am just nervous about being unemployed and planing a wedding and honeymoon! I'm hoping I can book Palo for the night we are in St Thomas. That is the day we are getting married. If I cant book ahead of time we will be getting to the port nice and early to try and get a spot! Has everyone esle nailed down thier plans?

I understand about the winters, we lived in Des Moines for 3 years and being from the south, I froze to death. As soon as DH was done with school, we moved back to NC, it was nice to go back to a 4 season state. How exciting to be planning a wedding! Have a safe move to your new home!

Just did my online check-in! It feels real now! I have all my hotels and car rentals booked too. It will be Christmas soon enough and then time to board the ship!!!

So I have checked in online, etc. however we are still undecided about what to do while in St. Thomas/St. John. We would LOVE to be able to go to Trunk or Cinnamon bay, however most of the DCL excursions for St. John have an age restriction of 5 and our DS is 3. Any suggestions about getting there on our own or other excursion companies that might take us? I am not afraid of getting there on our own, I just worry about the time constraints and getting back to the ship in time. I am pretty disappointed that DCL doesn't offer more "beach" time excursions. Any help would be great!!
