January 26, 2014 Dream 4 Day

Hi, We just booked last night for this cruise really wish we could have been in on the FE our granddaughter can't come with us this time and wanted to bring her some magic home from the trip!

Hello all...first post from me! My name is Lynn and this will be our first Disney cruise! I will be traveling with my husband, Brett, and our 19 month old son, Trent. We've been on Carnival and RC before and reallllly loved RC, but we chose Disney this time so my son, who isn't completely potty-trained yet, can have some fun in the splash area (he loves the ones at WDW!). Plus, we already are obsessed with Disney, so it kind of just made sense. We are doing 2 days at WDW before the cruise and I'll be celebrating my 30th birthday too! Brett is a photographer, so we'll have plenty of photos to share when we return! :)

I'm sure you will all love it! We took our first cruise when our son was 2 and he's now 17 and we all still find it a great relaxing time away! You should check out the FB page as there are a lot of people celebrating birthdays mentioned there. You all had the same idea to celebrate on the seas! https://www.facebook.com/groups/551143604910407/

We have a 3 1/2 Boy, THis is our first cruise. Can someone tell me if it is worth it to do the fish extenders and what exactly it is???

Now to figure out exactly what I need to do for the FE :lmao: it still confuses me ;)

SEA DAY - There are many possibilities for this day and we can set up several meets based on interest. In past cruises, sea days are great days for group wine, beer or tequila tastings if offered on our ship, We could do a couples meet at Currents Bar (Deck 13 Forward) in the early afternoon (2pm) for fun in the sun and cocktails, past groups have scheduled a group meet at the Buena Vista Theatre for that days feature movie, with popcorn and soda. I am open to suggestions.

asmith1113 Thank you so much for posting that info. I'm on that FB group and didn't even see it :rotfl2:

I just wanted to remind everyone that the cut off date for the FE group is tomorrow Jan 14th so those who want to join, follow the link posted above. Currently there are 7 families for this 2nd FE group! I'm so happy I got in and started shopping for things for the kids today. :)

My sister and I will be taking our first Disney Cruise!! We are very excited. This will only be our 2nd cruise taken. The only thing that we are nervous about having tablemates for dinner. I have read good things and bad things. Is it normally bad, good, or just okay?

Hello I just finally found this, I've been searching how to get involved with the fish extender. I realize I'm a day late? Any chance we can still join in? Taking our daughter on this cruise for her 5th birthday! Thanks just let me know

Hi All,
Just got this cruise yesterday on the MTO (military) rate and also want to join the 2nd FE group if possible. We have already asked to join the B2B FB group but no reply yet. Also waiting on our cabin number too. Thanks asmith1113 for this thread. pixiedust:

I'm not sure if it's too late, I'd join up on the FB group and then ask on the thread for the FE signup for the 26th cruise. Kristen is putting it together, it won't hurt to ask! If it is too late, there are some meets set up that you can join in on!

I wouldn't worry. We are a family of three, so we are what we refer to as "filler" for tables with larger families. Often we are with a family of 5. By far, it's been a great experience. We've met some lovely people. One time it went wrong, our last cruise, so trying not to think about that this time... The family we were seated with, who seemed very nice, didn't realize they would be with another family and in the very first few minutes of the first night, they moved to their own table because they said their 2-year old would annoy us, although we all assured them that was not the case. We asked if they could move us to a different or smaller table, but no, so the rest of the 7 night cruise, we were three people at a table for 8. It was strange, but that was the worst, so I guess not that bad. Wishing you well with your tablemates!

You are welcome! Glad to see you got the military rate; we were able to transition our reservation to Florida Resident, but not military. That's okay as it is just a little more, but the military rate certainly caught my eye! Just a thought and that is it looks like there is one other new person here looking to join FE. If it's too late for the one being organized on Facebook, maybe you two could exchange at a minimum. See you soon!

I'm glad you saw it here! I hope everyone comes. It takes only a few minutes to meet folks and then it's nice to see people you recognize, if not really know, around the ship.

We will have our FE out and gifting some. Still haven't been accepted to the FB B2B group to see the FE list. Could someone post the 2nd FE list here so we can gift it. Thanks. pixiedust:
