Ok, I am confusing myself with these gifts - so I needed to break it down for myself - maybe it will help you guys too so I'll post it. Please let me know if I am missing someone...looks like 7 year old girls are filling the ship

Girls (11 total or 14 with texasgal74):
1- 5 year old
2- 6 year olds
4- 7 year olds
1- 8 year old (2 if texasgal74 is still in)
1- 10 year old (2 if texasgal74 is still in)
1- 10.5 year old (my DD told me she won’t be 11 yet and she’s not 10! lol )
1- 11 year old (texasgal74)
1- 12 year old

Boys (4 total):
1- 4 year old
1- 7 year old
1- 10.5 year old (his bday is the day after my DD!)
1- 14 year old

Adults (16 total)

My apologies to texasgal74 I reread her message and she was moving from Wis to Houston but didn't say she wasn't going on the cruise.. so I'm sorry for confusing everyone!! Texasgal where are you! How was your move?

Hey everyone! I'm seriously considering doing this cruise this year instead of DisneyWorld. I'd love to do both, but I cannot make the $$$ work. So, I'm curious how many of you are doing just the cruise and NOT WDW? It breaks my heart to not do the parks...

I am so jealous that you recieved cruise paperwork in the mail!! That makes it so much more real!!
I had this nightmare last night that we werent able to go on the cruise because I dreamt that we had a severe snowstorm in Charlotte and I wasnt able to drive through it to get to FL...I hope that doesnt happen....

I was so excited to get that package the other day... it was fun, but most of the info I received was stuff you could already get off of the website. Except you can hold it in your hands... and the booking dates are great too. I think everyone should be receiving it.

We are going to Busch Gardens instead of wdw... its more affordable, that's what we did last time, and we had a great time! Of course, the cruise was the best part, so you'll have fun no matter what you decide!

Thanks for the feedback Melissa. I'm wondering if anyone else on this cruise is doing the cruise only? Is 3 1/2 days on the ship enough of a vacation? I'm really torn...

We're doing the Land/Sea Package. We done several combinations: Cruise only, WDW/Cruise, Cruise/WDW, WDW only. We enjoy the world, but the 4 day does give you time to relax after being at the world. Especially is you've been to Nassau before, you can sit around the ship and take it easy.

Just go out and have fun.

I'm so glad you like it Brigitte... I know it's not as great as some you will see on here, but it will do! I hope you get your package from dcl soon... We are staying in Tampa at the Best Western right by Busch Gardens the night before... but maybe I should change that, and come near the port the night before. Where are you guys staying?

FE ! boy I better get moving.. I actually looked for fabric the other day but didn't care for what I saw.. I really need to get moving only 4 1/2 months left yikes!!!

Not sure about the papers will have to ask my mil since she's the one who is funding this trip!!

Is there anything I'm forgetting? I keep reading the boards but it is all the same ol same ol.. there must be something out there that I am missing though!!

I got an email the other day saying my FE had been mailed - I keep checking the mailbox and so far no FE and no paperwork Maybe tomorrow will be the big day!

We'll be staying in Orlando for 2 nights prior to the cruise but haven't decided where yet.

Our packet came in the mail yesterday! It is just too cute the way that it is all bundled together. Just another way to add to the Disney magic. Of course the kids want to order all of the items that you can pre-purchase for the room.
I must say that it is really bugging me too that we are not "doing Disney." We are going to stay 2 nights in Downtown Disney and go to Sea World. I also am getting my Disney fix by eating at Ohana our first night in Orlando. I know it gets some bad reviews, but it is a great view of Wishes and my kids actually love the food as much as we do. We will take the boat from Downtown Disney over to PortOrleans(We want to stay there next time and want to see it first) then take a bus to Magic Kingdom From there we will take the monorail "ride" to Ohana. It is our sneaky way to feel Disney, but not actually go in to a park. We are also planning on spending 1/2 a day shopping at Downtown Disney. Then we are off to Kennedy Space Center and a night at the beach. I'm sure it will be a great cruise!

Just wondering if anyone is booking any excursions. We are hoping to do the StingRay thing at Castaway Cay and snorkel if warm enough. I am not sure about the Bahamas yet. We were thinking about taking a cab to Atlantis to sightsee the aquarium. Anyone else have any grand plans?

We're probably staying on the ship as we've been to the bahamas 4 times already. We may do some shopping, but that's about it. Last time there, we went swimming with the dolphins at Blue Lagoon. Very cool.

We're going to do the dolphin swim... hopefully the water is not too cold

Still no paperwork!!! I am so jealous that everyone has gotten theirs! Did everyone pay in full? We payed all but the last couple hunderend....maybe you have to pay all at once???

What I wouldnt give to be going on this cruise now...well minus the hurricanes lol
