January 23, 2010 Sailing with Mickey on the Magic! **The Crusin' DISers**

Hi Everyone! If you are interested in having the Crusin' DISers Traveling Mickey live on your stateroom door for one day of our cruise, be one of the first 6 to PM me and you will be on the rotation. Basically, Mickey will start out on my stateroom door Saturday. I will then sign him and take him to his next destination Sunday morning (or I guess it could even be LATE Saturday). That person keeps him for the day, signs him and passes on. The person who gets him Friday, gets to keep him as a souvenir from the cruise!

I wish I could, we just had a baby 6 mo ago. So I'm still in a AACK-I-have-a-baby-what-the-heck-am-I-doing stage. I'll be way too scatterbrained to organize those fun stuffs...

I see there are some new DIS'ers joining in and I anticipate there will be more so I thought I would post a reminder about our activities. If you have any suggestions or ideas for other activities let us know!

2.) We will be doing a Fish Extender(FE) exchange. Again, you can PM me if you want to participate. More info can be found onPost #2.

OK, so I am behind but I purchased my airfare today so now I am just so excited I just can’t stand it. Did not get DH a ticket as we don’t know anything yet but we can either add him later or he can drive and meet us since it is just him. My FE should be delivered any day now and I have started my FE gifts. Working on door magnets for both myself and as a surprise for my parents. Most of her friends are younger. She gets along well with those in that age bracket. Once we introduce them I am sure it will take no time for them to become “buddys”.LOL On our last cruise I somewhat remember the lifeboat drill around that time. Then again I lost all concept of time once I boarded. Wow, snazzy woman making her own FE. Ebay baby!!!!!! I agree we should make a final shirt decision by next week. Whatever it is needs to super easy because I am useless in the arts and crafts department. Can a poll be started on this thread??? Another thing I am clueless about.

All the Navigators I have looked at say that everything pretty much shuts down at 3:30 for the 4:00 lifeboat drill. Maybe do 2:30 - 3:30 or during the sail away thing? Don't know if that is something that we could combine a meet and still see the show or what. Thoughts?

Alex likes hanging with the older girls and is pretty "mature" for her age. Is that actually possible? Is your DD going into any of the kids clubs? Alex will go to the Lab and I am hoping they might move DS up to that too as he turns 7 in about a week and he is just used to playing with older kids. Most of the kids his age just can't hang with him physically. He REALLY loves sports and likes to play hard! (Not rough, just plays to win.) Not that I encourage that, especially while he is on the football field!

They were both in the lab last time and LOVED IT! DS(10) will be in the lab again and from what I am reading DD will be in Ocean Quest?? She is worried it won't be as much fun (doubt that) but that is only because it's new.She was worried last time and we all know how that turned out . Maybe changing the meet and greet location and time so it can be on the deck about the same time as the Sail Away Party??? I know it is hectic boarding, eating, unpacking, life boat drill, sail away party and then dinner. I am already tired and we have 2 months left. DS's last football game was last night. Thank God for that!LMAO

That sounds great! Now that I may have to do this without DH as much adult time as I can get sounds great. I guess I got use to the idea he was going even though he was not at first.
