Traci, I was thinking the same thing. How's it going?

They started interferon (sp) IV treatment on Wednesday. He is going to have that done 5 days a week for 30 days after that they are going to do 1 month of radiation. So far he has had some side effects. The main ones are chills (no temp), nauseous and very tired. Food does not taste the same to him. Chicken is slimy and fish tastes like it is spoiled. His nail cuticles are turning purple and his skin in light pink from the meds. He is 3 days in.

So we are going to order t-shirts? If so, have we narrowed down a shirt and design? I have a few different designs I had made on the boards that are really cute and if anyone has any other design ideas in mind the graphics thread does a really good job.

The flags on the first one can be removed. If you look at the cruise magnet thread they have lots to choose from and can be customized.

Tell him I'll be praying for him and for all of y'all. The main thing that tasted good to me is fruit and veggies. For some reason, meat, starches (except for cinnamon bun oatmeal) and sweets just were yukky! I am really glad they are not doing both together. That's REALLY rough. Tell him to hang in there, it's not forever (although it may seem like it, LOL). Also, tell him to be sure and ask for meds for nausea and tiredness. Esp the nausea. Sometimes there is stuff they can give prior to each treatment that will help. But be sure to ask. You know how men are - don't like to admit they feel crappy, but if he doesn't let them know how he feels, they can't help him as well.

If he still feels like laughing, tell him if he stays pink, we'll just dress him up like piglet on the cruise!! I know we'll have a great time with a pink guy and a bald chick (that would be me, LOL)!

I have been thinking that the first or third one I posted would be cute on the back of a shirt. I like the examples that were on the top of the shirts with the names and such. Another idea for that would be the custom name tags. I have tons of ideas just no clue how to act on them.

They gave him lots of stuff "just incase". We could make a pretty penny off his meds if we wanted. He has this little dog he dresses in pink and takes everywhere so I now tell him he matches his dog. Well, my DH is shaped like Pooh! That is so funny about the dog! You have got to be sure and get a picture of that! Tell him just keep laughing! That and prayer is the best medicine there is... (and the occasional margarita!)

I think the nametags would be easy enough to do. Print and laminate. I am planning on taking all my door magnet stuff to Kinko's and have them print it on magnet paper. I will look into how much laminating nametags would be. If we come up with a design I could always print them up on the nametag paper I have. Surely laminating can't cost THAT much!

I went to start my door magnets yesterday and my printer took a dive so either I have a reason to buy a new one or off to Kinko's or someplace like that.

Yeah, I have been getting ice cram cups for my dog in the hot summer months a few years now. He loves them. He had to go to a bakery for dogs to get this cake.
