We're looking forward to our 4th trip to DL January 28-31. :-)
Staying GCH club this time around.

We have visited in August, March, and December so far.
We are Oregonians, so not much concerned about the weather (though we are hoping for sunny skies!).
My advice is to bring a raincoat that covers your bum when you sit down (or tie your jacket around your waist), avoid jeans on rainy days, and try not to allow the weather to control your emotions!

We're excited to spend the first few days of this trip at Joshua Tree National Park.

I'm seriously considering making a brief solo trip for my birthday (24th) (that's the date, not my age sigh). I'll have to do it on the on a budget because I'm going in Dec with my sister and we splurge. But maybe I could stay on site for one night! My dd gets a great discount and she could stay with me if she wanted to, which would be such a fun way to spend my birthday! I can get a free flight so that's not an issue. Well...we'll have to see how that goes. I'm still working on paying for December LOL.

That sounds like an amazing idea! I hope you go!

1/10 - Homewood near Toy Story Lot
Only one DL day after a short cruise from Long Beach. Planning to make the most of it with LL, rope drop, midday room break, and park closing. Wanted to get the rising moons fireworks package, but it’s not showing available. Does anyone know if it’s because there won’t be fireworks that Friday night?

We will be there 1/11-1/14. Finally got some bad family stuff mostly resolved today, so we know the trip is for sure now. Made dining reservations yesterday and today. Shorter trip this time because budget but much smaller group, and as I'm the one that makes sure everyone gets to have a good time, really looking forward to just having a few people this time.

1/15-1/16 annual birthday trip for my daughter (will be 7) and I. Hubby and little bro (4) will be joining us. We go every year in January and *knock on wood* have never had it rain… but since I typed that I’m sure this will be the year 😂

Do they sell ponchos in the parks?

Maybe pack extra socks in our backpack to keep in a locker.. extra pants for all.. and hope for the best!

That's the one!

This is actually the second time I am doing this tour and it's the only way to see Walt Disney Imagineering in person. The first two days tour Hollywood, the Studio and Imagineering. Then we transfer to Disneyland for more behind the scenes tours over the next few days. (I added a couple of extra nights in GCH to enjoy on my own).

OMG that sounds amazing!! What a great tour :)

A long time ago I got to do something like that. It was a private tour arranged by a friend. It was led by Dave Smith, who used to be the Disney archivist, and we got to see a lot of really behing-the-scenes stuff, including set pieces. It was so interesting and probably similar to your tour. I got to have my picture taken holding one of Walt's Oscars, but I've often thought it was probably not the REAL Oscar, though he claimed it was. I didn't realize what a privilege it was at the time and wish the "now" me could go back and see/hear it again because I just don't remember a lot about what was said.

I just canceled my solo WDW trip and rebooked for Disneyland! I just couldn’t get excited about DW this time around but I’m super excited now. 😍 January 27-February 1 staying in a deluxe studio at DVH.

Hey there- we will be there January 28-February 2nd. We are there for race weekend. Staying at VDH.

My one and only trip to Disneyland was earlier this year, in early February. It was during that week where it was like....historic heavy rains. Major flooding. I think maybe the park even closed early on a couple of days. I wore a poncho, but I've never been so soaked in my life.

I'm hoping we avoid that level of rain for this trip. Cool, we can handle.
