January 2020 dining availability

We have a split stay Dec. 26-Dec. 30, then Dec. 30-Jan. 4. Most of our dining plans are during the first part of our stay, but I wanted to try Topolino's Terrace for breakfast later on int he trip (when we are staying closer, at BCV). I called MS this morning to try and get a breakfast reservation for January 1, and MS saw no availability. She played around with trying to get a reservation on Jan. 1, and concluded that they simply hadn't released the inventory yet, and the best solution was for me to "keep checking back" (ugh...).

My question is if anybody has had success booking any ADRs for the first week of January? Has the inventory been released anywhere? Is it just Topolino's because it's new (which doesn't make much sense to me)?

Maybe they have not finalized yet all the details like which characters will be attending or the menu. Without being able to give these information they may not want to open reservations yet.

Reservations are at least available through December 30 (that's the latest I can see online with my first reservation).

They announced they were starting reservations about a week and a half ago, which matched up with the 180 dining window.

I guess I'm asking if anybody has made a January ADR anywhere yet, or at least sees January availability. With a special eye on Topolino's.

Sorry, I have a habit of getting stuck in the DVC forums. I called MS, so I posted in the MS forum. But Restaurants makes much more sense!
