Good morning,

Does anyone have any input on crowds/events the last two weeks of January? I thought the crowd level was typically lower this time of year but only onsite rooms available are CB or HR-club level.

Wondering if this is a sign that crowds will be higher than normal as there is still plenty of availability presidents week.

Trying to plan our first all universal trip and any insight would be appreciated....Thanks!

I think Jan has picked up some in popularity .Throughout Jan you have a lot of large tour groups and there is a lot of conventions .ALSO there is the Harry Potter celebration/convention end of Jan that brings people in. We went this past Jan and the Jan before and noticed a definite increase in the amount of people that were there

Would you still recommend January based on your exeperience this past year? Our last day would be Friday the first day of the HP convention and we could avoid WWoHP.

Thinking we could stay CB but pay for unlimited express to help with line waits.

The only other time we can go is over Mardi Gras and I heard it can be crowded then too.

If your only option is Jan or Mardi Gras, I would go in Jan.The crowds are not as bad

We're going the 8-12th of January. According to Touring Plans, the only medium crowded day will be Saturday, crowds should be low Sunday and Monday.
