Thinking of taking advantage of the Early Booking offer launched this week for a trip in first week in January next year.

Here are the prices for two adults for four nights five days with the Early Booking offer for a Sunday to Thursday trip taking advantage of the lowest supervalue season price offer.

Santa Fe / Cheyenne £356
Newport Bay £482
Sequia Lodge £500
Hotel New York £532
Disneyland Hotel £874

Each time I go in winter it snows! It snowed during our last December trip and again during our March trip this year. So i was thinking of a hotel around the lake. NBC is not bad at £482 but for only £50 more HNY is looking tempting.

We have only recently stayed in the SL and SF so they are not high on our priority list. I suppose if we went for the NBC we could stike lucky and get a refurbished room.

The Cheyenne at £356 is also looks good but I want to stay there again next October for our Halloween trip. So which hotel HNY or NBC?

I would go for HNY because the shorter walk will probably be nicer in cold weather and you'll have the hot breakfast options for not too much more money. But I really want to stay there so maybe I am biased!

On which site did you get these prices ?

:confused3

Edit:

Find it !

except 21st December - 3rd January

That´s not fair.....I plan to go from 2nd January due to school holiday

I agree Hotel New York is the choice out of those two.

To be honest at that price I would pay the extra for the Disneyland Hotel.
The difference in price is low when you consider the advantages of staying there.

I would go for either the HNY or the DLH.
I think given the likelihood of snow, I would probably choose the DLH - just because of the location.
But the HNY being only a 10 minute walk away would be my next option - definitely worth the little bit extra than the NPB to get a hot breakfast and a shorter walk to the parks.

Another vote for HNY for me :thumbsup2 Or if you can afford it, it's a really good price for DLH - location would be fantastic if snowing/cold.

We went this past February and stayed at the NPB and really enjoyed it...but it was sooooo cold and snowy, what we wouldn't give to have been warm in the DLH with a hot breakfast. :lmao:

I'd say if you can pull it off, go with the DLH...I've never stayed at HNY though, but given its the next closest, I'd have to go with that second.

But the SL sure is nice to sit by the fire on a chilly evening. :goodvibes

I too vote for HNY as there is not much difference in the 3 hotels around the lake:thumbsup2

I too have the same dilemma :/ I think I may try ny as nearer.i went in dec 2010 staying at Santa Fe and it was so cold it was painful lol so think I would rather have somewhere close by so as we can go back to hotel for a while n warm up lol

This is how I'm going to persuaded DW that this is going to be a bargain trip...

HNY is £532 for four night / five days. HNY is only 10 mins walk from the park and you get a cooked breakfast for those cold winter EMH mornings.

So two, five day two park hopper tickets will cost £194 each, so £388 in total for park tickets alone. Therefore the hotel will only cost us £144 for four nights, thats only £36 per night, or £18 each per night for bed and breakfast. Travelodge prices :rotfl2:

Don't anyone mention the costs of annual passes here as it will mess around with the fuzzy logic of my mathematics calculations :) and I think this package price is cheaper that the 35% discount you will get with a Dream Pass.

I know we will have to hitting the parks running on the Sunday afternoon when we arrive to get in all the rides that we know will be closed the following morning and it will also probably be our only change to see Dreams! that evening if they cut it down to weekends only. But I can live with that.

As we all know the day after the Christmas season ends the big winter refurb programe starts so it will be interesting to see which rides will be closed and to watch Christmas disappear from the parks. I've never been before for a transition period and it must be strange to enter the park one morning and notice that the huge Christmas tree in Main Street has vanished over night.

Right off to phone DLP to make the booking.

HNY would be our choice too. And I love your calculations! Your DW couldn't say no at those prices!
We quite liked January in DLP, yes there was snow on the ground but being at HNY made it manageable.

Well it's all booked now and I did not even have to try and persuade DW. As soon as I went through all the prices with her she said HNY.

Just waiting for the Eurostar tickets to become available now.

Thanks everyone, never stayed at HNY before, we have eaten in the restaurants there and been to the convention centre, so this will be another hotel ticked off the list.
