January 2013 EMH

Hi! New here! I am planning our January 18-26, 2013 trip. The hours for January were released a few days ago, but missing were any EMH! Has anyone heard if they won't be offering EMH that month, or are they waiting to release them for some reason? I am wanting to plan what parks we go to and our ADR's based on EMH. I hope they come out soon! Thanks!

I don't have an answer to your question but my husband and I are looking at that week for an kids free trip for our anniversary!

I'm looking forward to going on rides without an hour wait!

How far in advance do they usually come out and where do I look? We are planning our first Disney vacation! Have 4 year old and 8 month old girls.
Do you try to get ADR at parks that open early? Is that better?

Newbie: Our last trip was our first trip and we did Hollywood Studios on the day it had morning EMH and that was only bc it was our first day. We went to MK on its evening EMH day bc it was open until 1 am. In January, we are wanting to plan our MK day on its evening EMH day bc we don't want to fight the crowds leaving after Wishes. I then plan meals around those days. Hope that helps a little.

Ok that makes sense but when do they release the emh? I have been told I should book character dining ASAP .... Thoughts?

I would make dining reservations as early as possible. The earliest you can do it is 180 days before you arrive. For me, I am 198 days out, so I'm hoping they release EMH before then. Since the rumor is they will release 2013 package prices on July 11, I'm hoping they release EMH then or before. I'm very shocked they didn't release them when they released regular park hours! I guess we will find out soon. Good luck with your planning!
