January 2013 Discounts

Being there isn't much on this site besides lots of hopes and very few rumors, I don't see anything until mid to end of Oct. Disney tries to keep discounts under wraps but that hardley ever happens and there are rumors usually all over. Just my thoughts. Also I haven't heard anything through my agency either.

Don't mean to burst any bubbles, just stating it how i see it.

Sadly, you're probably right. Usually something is offered to Disney Visa Card holders first, and we haven't heard any rumblings of that either.

2. A BoG reservation for our trip to be available on the ADR website right now

I'm pathetic. I've been hitting the special offers button ever since midnight Eastern time! HAHA! I did notice that now you are not able to book a FD trip at all on the website so maybe that's progress towards a new FD offer!!

Oh yes! I did see that but I guess I thought that there were emails out with 2013 pins. That gal was very lucky! I guess it wouldn't hurt to call but I want POFQ and it's not usually under the room only discount umbrella is it? Hmmm...I sure wish tomorrow would just show us FD for January! Ha!

I did notice earlier tonight when trying to change an ADR that reservations was down. The last few times before a big announcement, dining was down. Hmmmm....I have a feeling something is coming soon!

It's redonkulous! HAHA! I so need to go to bed b/c I have to get up early for church in the morning but the draw of a "possible" new discount has me wide-eyed!! HA! Praying and crossing everything this is it!!

Hmmm... As far as I can see, Disney has announced winter and holiday RO, but only until 12/22! (That is new, right??)
I'm crossing my fingers for FD released tomorow, but honestly I doubt it.... And even though it is announced there is only a small chance of my dates (1/1-1/7) being included!...
Decided that if there is no RO or FD for my dates tomorrow, I will book it thru the international site and get FD at PORFQ, eventhough i "only" get QS! And then I will just feel lucky that I even get FD....

I think there's been some discussions on this thread about when to buy airline tickets...I was doing some searching and found this site: http://www.foxbusiness.com/personal...me-to-buy-airline-tickets-for-every-occasion/

It may or may not help but I used the Bing flight search and the tip it gave me was: Tip: Wait·Fares dropping $50+·78% Confidence.

That and the article I posted above says that for traveling "normal" times the best fares come out about 6 weeks before your trip. So then I guess I should wait!

I also didn't know that Tuesday mornings were the best time to check fares...interesting!

I just called to check if I had any PINS (nope)... and the CM told me to check back because she expects January discounts by mid-October. Hopefully that will be true-- I HATE waiting. I'll pay rack rate if I have too-- but I would much rather spend that money on other WDW fun!
