January 2012 Car Rental Deals

I did a search and didn't find this topic, forgive me if it's already been discussed.

It's looking like I may have an unexpected trip to WDW in January...most likely 1/7 or 1/8 through the 15th. I did a couple searches for car rentals and the prices were super-high. (like $300-$400 or more) Does anyone have a good rate for January? Do I just need to wait til it gets closer? We usually go over Spring Break and I book the car rentals over a year in advance, so traveling in Jan and booking on shorter notice is all new to me.

I'm bumping this up because I was looking for a deal for a January car rental too and can't find any threads on the subject.

I just reserved a compact (I'm cheap ) with Advantage rent a car for Jan 21-28 for $210 including all taxes. Much cheaper than I was able to find on hotwire.
