January 2010 Prices?

We went on our first family trip to Disney in January (booked through Nolitours), and we are thinking of booking again for January 2010 with a combined cruise (although not likely a Disney cruise). I can book the cruise now, but when can I book for January 2010 for the Disney portion?

I think I may book directly through Disney this time from some of the posts I have read on this forum.

I just want to book NOW, but of course it only goes to December 2009

If you want to book room only with Disney you can call and book now for 2010. They will quote you prices for this year until next year prices come out then they will adjust the price. We have already booked our room at PoP for February 2010.

Can I add on the DDP and tickets later? I want PoP for January, but I'll also want the other stuff.

Yes, you can book room only now and change it to a package later. But...you will have to pay for one night's stay at the max. rack rate immediately -- do you really want to do that with the Can $ at this rate? I booked our Feb trip in March last year, but the dollar was at par then -- I'm waiting to book our 2010 trip since the exchange rate really can't get worse than this.

I am not going to book yet. The rates they are quoting me for January 2010 at PoP are $135 for a standard room. The January 2009 rates were $82 for a standard. Yikes ... quite a difference. I'll wait until the rates come out in August (they told me between Aug 1-15).

I wasn't even considering the rate, so thanks for pointing that out too!!!
